Oh God- the "Why aren't you supportive of me" was like a sucker punch. Of course Jake had to drop into his seat after that! there is something really, really sweet about Jake's semi-horrified thought that Amy was better than a quickie in the living room. It really shows his adorable regard for her.

Hahah and Terry was just tooo much! Terry don't get in the way of love, damnit! Hahah and so simple- want to have an adult relationship with me? Loveee.

Okay, first of all wow. I have read about 98% of the JakexAmy fics in the archive and this is by far one of the best. You honestly captured both characters and the dynamic between them so well. The way you portrayed Jake - uncomfortable discussing feelings, immature and, let's face it, completely clueless when it comes to Amy - was completely spot on. Amy's characterisation was the same. You never went OOC with her, she was professional and work-oriented but still kind of nervous when it came to Jake. I loved thesmall details that you included like jealous Amy, Terry's pep talk, Rosa's mysteriousness, Boyle's food obsession. And drunk Amy was exactly how I imagined her. I've actually written drunk Amy a few times myself but I think the way you did it was way better - the way she turned kind of shy and inquisitive and then brave enough to kiss Jake. I also loved how you opened this fic, I was instantly hooked. The way they had their first was so creative and brilliant - I wish I was imaginitive enough to come up with something like that!
Overall, this was a completely fantastic fic andyou should be very proud of it. I look forward to reading more of your work in the future!y
