I think this is the first case where the warnings are actually based on actual grounds rather than base fear of power. Doctor Strange is still working to keep arcane forces at bay that want Superman. This would actually worry Superman I think, or at the least, make him offer any help he can. Until next time.

It's a shame that Supes is under so much distrust, but this is the Marvel universe, which, imo, is not nearly a hopeful place as the DC universe, but that's only my opinion.
