likeflashlights chapter 1 . 8/19/2014
Why can you never leave well enough alone? I prefer to maintain my delusions about happy endings. But, really, I did like it. Anakin's point of view was somehow almost humorous or at least darkly ironic, which definitely emphasized how separated from reality and truly unwell he was. Poor Anakin. I think that you really captured how unstable people who are sick can become. I do appreciate the happy ending, however brief. Like I said, I have my delusions. Thanks for sharing.
Spongyllama chapter 2 . 3/5/2014
Absolutely love this! I love the build-up of Anakin's chapter and the way he's obviously getting worse and worse. I think it's believable, too, because we all know that he can't deal with his emotions and I can't say it's altogether surprising he would do something like this, although it's very heart-wrenching. And I love love love the fact that you made a chapter with Obi-Wan's point of view, because their relationship is so important and I was basically dying to know what Obi-Wan was thinking and how he would react, so I love the sense of suspense you created. I also love the way you wrote Obi-Wan's reaction to this, because he's "supposed" to be the perfect reserved quiet Jedi Master but let's be honest when it comes to Anakin he is completely irrational (from the Jedi's point of view that is) and would definitely worry himself sick if something like this really happened.
(And I love the fact that you wrote this in the bathtub)

Just wanted to say I really loved this story. Wonderful job.

Thanks a bunch for doing my idea! I loved the second chapter. Obi Wan's personality is perfect, and I love Ahsoka's appearance. Thanks again!
Pwyllugh chapter 2 . 2/20/2014
Another great chapter. I always love listening to Obi-Wan's Point of view concerning Anakin. Thank you for the quick update :-)
The ending is perfect and very chilling. We all know how it Ends but there will always be this small hope that Anankin won't fall. I guess, that's why I read fanfiction.
skygawker chapter 2 . 2/19/2014
I'm glad we get to see Obi-Wan's side of this-I was wondering how Anakin was found (and about Ahsoka being there), and this answered both questions in the most heartbreaking way possible. Obi-Wan is great and in character in this: he cares about Anakin, yet can't quite look past the false dichotomy of "handling emotions well OR falling to the dark side" he was raised with to see the way in which Anakin is hurting. I also liked how you portrayed Anakin's struggle with suicidal thoughts in the first chapter-it's very (sadly) in-character that he initially avoided doing it out of worry for the guilt or blame that the others would go through if he did, rather than seeing the importance his own well-being. I appreciated how you kept the tone appropriately serious/angsty for the topic while keeping Anakin's semi-casual attitude in parts even with regards to his own suicidal ideation; it made the fic seem more realistic and not some sort of almost-glorified melodrama. And, of course, sad face at the inevitable ending-with Obi-Wan gone to Utapau, Palpatine being purposefully as toxic a friend as possible, and the Jedi Healers having offered presumably no help whatsoever to help maintain Anakin's recovery, he really was in absolutely the worst mental place possible.

I just love your Anakin angst fics. They're the best I've read! This one was no exception. Therre was just one thing that confused me though-why was Anakin hearing Ahsoka's voice and telling her to go away if she's no longer at the temple? Did Anakin hallucinate that she was there, or was she really? Either way, great fic. Keep it up!
Pwyllugh chapter 1 . 2/17/2014
I love your angst stories. You build up the mood so well just within a few hundred words and I love how you (almost) always end your story with a foreshadowing of more bad things to come. That's your style and I "enjoy" it. As far as you can enjoy something like that, I think.
I'm always glad when there's a story by you in my inbox :-)
