I’ve read this a few times actually but I think for some reason I never reviewed. Your writing is incredible, the style and tense and all, and your characterisation, especially of Arthur, is phenomenal. Great read!

Interesting, very interesting. I liked your humour and the way you described physical abuse. You painted a very clear picture of the mental state of Arthur and you left room for imagination but described scenarios enough for me to have material for imagining clearly the settings. I have been reading your stories all day now (I'm home sick...) and I have been hooked :D I finaly desided to comment this one, because I'm writing a Merlin story with the same theme, childabuse. Your story is with very different setting and I will definitely read this till the end and comment more when I'll get to the ending.

Thank you for this, and all the other stories you have written, your style of writing is powerful and I get very strong emotions and it's easy to get sucked into the settings. I hope to see more stories from you in the future :)

I just wanna say that I read this 2 times and more, I never find it boring or less beautiful than the first time, I want to thank you for writing and sharing this, I'm italian and I find your writing style really fascinating, not only I love the fact that your Merlin stories are well written, but also I appreciate the plots you often decide to develop, you are really brave and a good writer to speak about children abuses, care system, violence, eating disorder, poverty, discomfort and so on. I admire you so much for the topics you decide to deal in spite of the difficulties. This story in particular was amazing and so intense and dramatic, I loved it. I congratulate you. :)

Aww this is really sweet. I've read quite a few fics where Merlin is abused so it was interesting to see the situation reversed. Uther was pretty terrifying and the sweet relationship between the boys was lovely. I really enjoyed the whole thing

This was very good. I agree on how hard it is to speak up in cases like that, and they didn't seem very ooc, even with the slight differences. Very fluffy ending- it made me smile!

Je ne sais pas pourquoi, mais ce qui me touche beaucoup c'est le fait que Hunith adopte Arthur, et qu'il est comme un fils pour elle. J'aime beaucoup cette idée. Je suis contente de la suite, même si j'aurais voulu savoir si Uther avait des regrets... Il doit certainement en avoir, et la prison lui laissera le temps de la réflexion.
