I really like history, all romance, Gale's struggle not to love her. The way you discover your love, the end, I appreciate you being a happy one.
I recently remembered Gale and Madge, so I am pleased to know that someone else likes this couple.

This was so cute! Very in character and well written. I especially appreciate that there was no love triangle/square (lol) which would lend itself well to this universe. Keep writing great stories!

Interesting fic. It was slightly confusing to understand the matching system at the beginning, but it got explained soon. I think I like Effie in the Hunger Games better (never thought I would) at least there she could be something better than a nuisance. :)

... what a horrible world. To be forced to marry so young, and then told who you will marry and how many children you will have. And then killed off if you can't meet the requirements. Doesn't the system allow for some people to not find a match? I mean, as much as society and the world needs marriages and families to survive, they also need single people as well. I guess Panem doesn't see it that way cause they're fucked up.

Either way, you did a good job of taking the anxiety and fear of the original Hunger Games/Reaping Day and transferring it into this equally as frightening Coaduation universe. I mean, seriously. Between getting killed as a teenager and required to live a life of eternal unhappiness, I don't know which I'd choose. Of course, there's always the chance that you could live happily with your selected partner... I know Gale and Madge will be at least cause they're made for each other :)
