Only the second story, and it was AWESOME! Seriously, even better than the first one, if this pattern keeps up, I can only imagine how the next ones will be. Well done ;)

That was intense. The masked man is a chilling, twisted figure indeed.

This was certainly something. I liked how you made it darker than the anime usually is. Lance's appearance was welcome, and a clever way to include him as well.

Ash's new Riolu was an important character in this story, and I enjoyed the twist that he ended up actually being a she. She's unique given the circumstances of her hatching, and is a nice reminder that not all hatchings play out normally. There will be some differences.

I'll be honest, the last bit of the previous chapter has me a bit confused. The epilogue was certainly clear, though. Yikes, Giovanni and Yung working together? Mirage System 2.0? Double yikes.

I'm excited to move onto Between Time and Space. The Diamond and Pearl movies were really good, and I can't wait to see how you've improved them.

To date, I still haven't seen "Mastermind of the Mirage Pokemon" outside of a few clips, so I still only know this story through your fic.

I didn't mention it on the last story, but I really appreciated that you made something out of the whole human cast (or nearly whole, in your case) almost dying. That's the worst thing about "Lucario" IMO - Ash and Kidd's non-reaction to everyone getting eaten by orange blood cells. One of the clips I've seen of the actual special is Misty's fall, and Ash's muted reaction in that bugged me too. Needless to say, I preferred what you did.

What was it about Dr. Yung and the Mirage system that drew you to using them as major villains in your series?
