The words just flow so easily.
You tweak with the scenarios yet you manage to keep them in genuine character.

so simple but it really touched me. i'm officially a huge fan of your stories.

This was great. I really enjoyed the sentiments behind it, and it was perfect for Valentine's Day! I liked how the conversation about Mary and her suitors sparked something deeper for Anna and John. It's always fun to read conversations about who previously had captured their attention (well, less in the case of John since someone else, as you stated, has to figure into it...), but I really loved that they simply talked about each other when it was their turn, and how the other tries to bring themselves down. And the ending was especially lovely. I will always be a fan of cottage shenanigans. My favourite sentiment was courtship being overrated compared to being married to Anna. That was wonderful.

This was SO perfect. I really liked their whole conversation and it sounded very real in many ways. Many times in Fanfics, characters quote themselves or what others have told them. Most of us don't recall the exact words we used or heard from others. It is easy as fans to remember those quotes but it would not be for the characters (there are some exceptions, I am sure Anna remember the however, whatever, whenever :) ). Anyway, I appreciated that they allude to the sentiments but did not use the exact quotes.
