I don’t understand the complaints about Hagrid’s teaching. in his first class he explained what not to do then a student did everything he said not to do and was surprised over the outcome? Year 4 was probably no more dangerous then herbology-considering in yr 2 in herbology they were dealing with things that could kill with a scream but was probably crossbreeding new creatures(Draco didn’t go anywhere legally nor did anyone else so there are questions over what was going on there) and year five he introduced fascinating creatures such as thestrals. It is possible he should have waited and reaffirmed understanding of how to deal with creatures before each class but as we don’t see all the classes he may have done that.

If I may, might I suggest updating once a month or so here. This way you can still focus on ao3. But not leave those of us who are on feeling abandoned.

While interesting, I don't get how this would show things like what wand he uses or what classes he is decent at. Why would it even say that he can fight with a sword? Skill are not the same as magic, and classes designed by people do not classify the same as 'dark' or 'light' magic.

Y'know, stuff that is actual magic ability. He KNOWS what skills he has. The only reason why I could see him wanting to take the test, is to see if he has an ability or affinity he didn't know about.

If you want to list skills, then it should write out how good he is at cooking and cleaning, and the whole mess of other learned abilities normal people gain through life...
