I enjoyed your story from this alternate perception. You did a pretty good job of following the book's events. I would have liked to read the epilogue from his perspective too, though. Anyway, thank you for writing & posting it.

I don't know - it's kind of nice to get a break from the intensity. To arrive somewhere nice before you move on to the next challenge. I liked this chapter. Kudos on writing it well, even though it wasn't your favorite.

I know that I'm late to this story and you've completed it, so I don't know if you'll see this, but I love what you're doing. I always like reading alternative POV stories anyway, but this is a really well-done one. Thanks for the hard work!

As always, you did a great job! You always keep the feeling of the book in your writing. Are you going to write another chapter for the Epilogue?
Also is the bonus chapter different from the epilogue with Burns? Because if it is, I was completely unaware of a bonus chapter until you said something about it. I'll have to buy a copy with the bonus chapter if it's something I haven't read.

I still love how you’re filing in all the stuff we never got to see in the book. It’s very authentic and makes the whole thing feel more complete. I loved the part where they’re putting Wanda in and everyone has gathered around to watch. And the part where Wanda wakes up, even though I’d already read it in the book, I enjoyed reading it from Jared’s perspective. His initial worries about whether he made the right choice, his comment to Mel about “We’re in trou-ble” … it all adds to the believability of the story.

Great story so far, but I think it could have used more derailing by fluff:) Looking forward to the next chapter.

Nooooooooo! I've finally reached the end of what you have written, which means I'll have to WAIT for the next chapter! I've gotten so spoiled reading 27 chapters right in a row! :)

Actually, I'm glad you still have (one? two? a few?) chapters left to write, and I don't mind waiting because it makes the experience last longer and leaves me with something to look forward to.

I loved all the banter between Melanie, Jared, and Jamie in the previous chapter. Very realistically written. Also, the uncomfortable feelings they were having about kidnapping a soul so Wanda could have a new body... I never thought about that before, but that's a really good point. That would be a difficult thing to do, mentally. I like the scene where Melanie points out someone who looks like her, and how you develop a little more about who Pet was. And of course Melanie and Jared's interactions are adorable.

And then this chapter! Again, those Jared/Melanie and Jared/Melanie/Jamie moments are great. Jamie's hilarious! I like that Jared and Melanie talk about the kiss and about Jared's love for Wanda, and how Melanie is so understanding about it. I love Jared's talk with Ian, and how Jared thinks about it from Ian's perspective and tries to help him the best he can. And then Kyle... I can't imagine how hard it would be being him in this chapter. It's amazing how much he has changed since when we first met him. I love how kind he is to Sunny.

Well, I'm looking forward to the next installment, whenever you happen to post that! I know it might still be quite a while away, but I don't mind waiting. All of these chapters have been amazing, and I know the rest of the story will be too! :)

The scenes you write from imagination blend perfectly with the scenes you take from the book. If I hadn't read the book I wouldn't know the difference! I enjoyed this chapter, especially Jamie and Mel's reunion.
