Hello, I know it's been a while since you wrote this masterpiece, and I don't know if you will ever even see this, but I liked it so much that I decided to review it anyway.

I can't describe the dread, horror, and sadness this book made me feel.
All of the best stories I've read usually make me feel that way about halfway through, and this one was no exception. I was starting to wonder if you were going to kill off everything good in the wonderful world you'd created, and yet I was so invested in the lives of the characters that to quit reading altogether never even crossed my mind.
I'm glad I didn't.
All the sorrow was well worth it! The elation I got at the victory in the end was indescribable! I love this story more than most, and I shall definitely favorite it that I might read it again later. You should feel proud, I don't normally do that...
It's not just that your story has a happy ending, most books do and most books are easily forgotten. It's that the ending feels deserved, and your careful writing and dedicated planning show through to the very end.

I read this story as it was released three years ago. Three years later, now that there is a serious lull in new and exciting Httyd novels, I remebered an old few from my favourites list. Its been so good to read this again!

Whenever I read fanfictions the quality of the story tends to vary a lot and finding good authors is like finding a needle in a haystack you my friend are one of those needles, seriously you could make a living off your writing skill keep doing what your doing and as i would love to read a sequel

Hi! I read this story about a year ago and it still amazes me! So much thought, time, and care went into this beautiful piece that I can't get it out of my head! I've been looking for this story for awhile now and I'm so happy I finally found it. The plot was absolutely gorgeous and and the characters written were so believable and 3 dimensional (if that makes any sense). Even though Astrid has always been more of the "I fight for myself and others, I don't need anyone's protection", I'm glad you showed more of her vulnerable and loving side. I'm also very happy with how you wrote Hiccup! He was still this adorable, lovable geek that he's always been, but you also managed to show his more manly and protective side for his family and loved ones! Again, this story was fantastic and I hope you're proud of it! I look forward to future stories such as this!

Nice chapter I get a little scary there as I think that Hiccup was going to marry someone else. But know deep in that that is no going to happen so nice job there thanks

Hi ! Sorry I really haven't known much about you. But I loved your story. Just recently read it though. But your story gave me a roller coaster ride ! Like I swear ! I laughed on the comedic sides of the story, but mostly angry at the bad guys. Got me insane. I also cried three times. 1st was when Astrid died, 2nd when she died twice, and 3rd when Rose died. Also, this wasn't the 1st story to make me cry. But I luv it. I hope to meet you someday. Oh, and I have reviewed a lot of authors and their stories. So, yeah.

But I would be looking forward to probably know more on your stories. Wenk. Btw, I'm a 16-year old Filipina. :)
