Nice. By the way, I believe Astrid knew by the end of the first movie: when Toothless caught her and Hiccup asked if he'd gotten her, Toothless looked at her and gave her a toothless smile. She definitely saw it as she smiled back.

AWW! This was so adorable. Not only does the name have symbolic meaning the movie version (because teeth are a dangerous thing of a dragon, but by calling him Toothless, it kind of means he won't be dangerous around Hiccup) I loved this version too! I've always personally thought it started out as a silly nickname ("I can't keep just calling it the dragon") but it ended up sticking. :) Loved this!

This made me happy. i like how the villagers were afraid to go up to Hiccup and ask him in person, and instead they chose to ask Stoick and Gobber. Yay for Hiccup and Toothless Friendship! Good Job!

Okay, this is very cute and assume and amazing. I had thought about wanting to read a story like this before but had forgotten about it. I really enjoyed this.

AWWWWWWWWW. Toothless really only retracted his teeth when playing with Hiccup! Although they all must have felt pretty silly for thinking it was anything else.
