I can totally see something like this happening because 1) Jean is awesome xD 2) He seems to be good friends with Armin 3) Eren really didn't care much about Armin during this mission or directly after 4) Jean will use any excuse to fight Eren, even with only words.

Even though what Eren did slightly surprised me. Not that sleeping with someone is bad, it's just... I can barely remember the times when I had a friend close enough to comfortably sleep next to. But it was pretty sweet.

I do like this. And I do like the bond that Armin and Jean have developed. I do wonder why Mikasa and Eren weren't shown comforting Armin after something like this happened - but then again, Armin is the type that wouldn't want to burden the two with something like that (especially Eren considering he has the the hope of humanity resting on his shoulders - I'd be stressed!). It just seems like poor writing on the author's side, really, though, because they're portrayed to be extremely close in the beginning.

Haha, finally! Finally I found a fic focused on that damn chapter! This fanfic was lost in the many others, and I have finally found this jewel.

Trust me, I was an angry wreck on that chapter, too. Aside from Eren and the whole Levi squad (seriously, Sasha and Connie looked like they were joking about it in the manga), I'm also very upset with Mikasa. She SAW the hell Armin went through, and she doesn't do anything afterwards.

This was an amazing story. You conveyed great emotion and your writing was beautiful. Really wish this was included in the manga.

It also really bothered my how Eren and Mikasa were portrayed after the mission, so I'm glad that you wrote this story.

Everyone was really IC in it and I enjoyed how your portrayed every individual relationship. I also liked that Jean was sort of aware that he could have used this situation to his advantage, even if he did not fully admit to himself that he had feelings for Armin. It wouldn't be Jean if the more selfish course of action wasn't at least at the back of his mind.

So yeah, this is really great and I hope you write more SNK fic. Maybe the Jearmin angle will work better in another story, huh?

I swear it's pure coincidence that I end up on your fic right after you reviewed mine. o.O Anyway, it's nice to see more canonverse fics. I've been craving comfort fics like this (hence why I wrote mine), and it's nice to see it from Eren's side this time. The way you portrayed their friendship is beautiful and real, so be thankful it didn't turn out as expected, because it turned out way more realistic than it would have if you forced a pairing.

Your characterization of everyone was so freaking fabulous! I especially loved how you portrayed Jean as feeling so conflicted with his desires to be a good person like Marco and swallowing his jealousy for Eren's and Armin's relationship for the latter. This really is a beautiful fic :'D
