I really enjoyed reading your story. A romance with a good plot and action with my favourite characters : Fili and Dwalin.

I HOPE SHE ISN'T PREGNANT. Gosh, that would be awful. But then again what kind of contraceptives did people have back then? I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING. Maybe the good-old pull-out method? I was sad that Graham turned out to be this ugly, asking about Hannah's worth. And I bet he made it known that the peltmaster died. Because Lady Barge and her prying was a bit suspicious. She asked whether the sisters were alone... hope nothing bad happens to them :(

HAD ALL THE CO. SURVIVED?! Oh this story is a gem. A GEM, I'm telling you. I wonder what kind of a plot you came up with. In fanfic, it is always easier to stock events from cannon. So I'm very curious what is meant to take place. I'M SO EXCITED. This story will definitely ruin my sleep schedule but it will be worth it :D

I can't believe how easily and quickly you sucked me into the story! Especially when I was looking for a story of the "girl from Earth drops in the Middle-Earth" set-up. I adore all the details you give, about the market, about the wildlife, about Hannah's knowledge of writing and maths. I find this style very hard to achieve and you accomplished just that. Nice work. I loved it. Thank you for sharing :D

I have never, ever, liked a fanfiction so much that I've read it twice in two days. Wonderful work, I wish I was able to keep a plotline going as seamlessly as you do, and each character is unique with their own motivations. Seriously, bravo. If you ever publish any original fiction, please let me know.

Hem is such an interesting character to be honest. Most people dont really flesh out characters other than the main few, but she is wonderful and lovely.

I'll be honest; at the start of this story I didn't expect I would read it all, or read it diligently, and instead skim some chapters, skip others, and read the final chapter to get the gist. It's quite a long story and I didn't think I'd be bothered to read the whole thing word for word.

Instead I found myself glued to my screen and finishing this story in two days, every word read and cherished as much as the original Tolkien tale. Honestly and truly this story has been incredible. It's wonderfully written, sensitively considered, and paced like a dream. Hanah's refusal of Fili's generosity could have easily become frustrating and rendered the audience impatient for her to "get over it" but you took the time to flesh her concerns out and express them in a way that was not frustrating or tedious, but entirely reasonable and realistic (and I was totally on board with her 100%). Equally Hemery could have become an irritating addition to the cast as one of those younger siblings only there for convenient plot devices or to emphasise how much the main character's sacrificed to care for them or their compassion in doing so. While those things occurred, they were secondary because you took the care to make Hemery her own character and not an extension of the main one. The story was so much richer for that.

Honestly, I could keep singing praises but I stayed up late to finish this and it's really past my bedtime now! Beautiful story. I loved it. Absolute favourite for this fandom.
