And a sweet and exciting conclusion. Harrowing efforts by Mary, impressive and scary.. even sweet reconciliation for Molly and Mycroft! Whew!

Ooooomg. Delightfully tense, considerably high stakes, understandably high emotions... all of which are written beautifully and with clarity and is visceral. What will happen?!

It almost feels like Sherlock is already on the defensive and would be hurt if Molly didn’t ask to go with him.

Mycroft does suck a bit. He’s not doing a great job of caring for Sherlock.

“"Mary, it's time to take your husband home," Sherlock called into the kitchen.” - Perfect!

Damn Mycroft! Why does he think has to get a word in edgewise. It’s very arrogant and really unnecessary!

Yay, yay, yay! I’m so happy this chapter went the way it did. I was fairly afraid of some sort of fall out if he had continued to push her away, or even some sort of life and death moment being stuck on the same hill where June died. But you’ve been so optimistic, and constant in your subtle descriptions of their loyalty and understanding, this was inevitable. But I’m glad it didn’t come after a lot of angst. Angst can be fun, but I also want good things for them and you wrote that beautifully.
However, I am still slightly anxious seeing as I’m not even half way through the story.

I would not be doing very well if I were them. I am not very brave.

So far, this is a much more subdued and a lot happier that the Something Bad I had been anxious about. Doesn’t mean it’s not still looming, just with a little more stealth now.

Uh oh, things are getting tense.. I’m nervous now of something bad happening. A few things actually.

“this would be how it would end for them: a rushed goodbye and any chance to try – just to try - to be together extinguished.” ! What sort of sorcery do you dabble in that allows you to twist the knife so accurately and deeply with your words?!

A week and a half John, really? Wtf?
I love the rawness of this whole thing. You’re really digging in deep and getting into the tension and the angst that is so very palpable when it comes to these two.
