Great collaboration! Loved this.

Oh this was soooooo good. I loved how nobody found out our duo was the one to solve the case together. It was great how Lisbon remained so quiet. Although, if the bad guys took her gun and badge, then the FBI team must have found it while checking the house, buuut, as a part of it burned probably that’s why they didn’t. But hey! I loved it and it goes directly ti my favs!

Wow, this first chapter is so very illogical in so many ways, like ...
First of all, the FEDERAL Bureau of Investigation doesn't operate internationally; that's what the CIA is there for.
Second, Jane fled to a non-extradition country where the U.S. can't make ANY arrests.
Third and naturally because of both those points, it follows that the FBI would have no legal standing to threaten Jane with prison for refusal, much less enact such a thig.
Fourth, there's no way Jane wouldn't know all of the above.

Furthermore, Jane wouldn't need any office decorations to read Abbot's private life. In fact, he used to make a living pegging people at first glance and likely figured out Abbot's background when he met him. Or when he came to Austin at the latest if he was out of practice before.
To top it off, Abbot seems painfully OOC even just considering from the ep he first appeared, much less the following ones.
So is Jane, come to think of it. After all the pain he caused her, Jane wouldn't give a rat's ass about Abbot's orders when it comes to telling Lisbon about leaving even just in the broadest strokes. He'd trust her to keep it to herself, and trust himself to convince her of just that.

Now, having listed just how difficult to swallow a setup you cooked up here - let me just suspend this balloon of disbelieve and bite anyway ...

I hadn't read this story before, until I decided to put to the task these last days. I admit that the perspective of Jane disappearing once more from Lisbon's life, according to the synopsis of this fic, made me reluctant to cope with it. But I shouldn't have feared, as I already know that you both are great writers together and among my favourites in this site. :-)
