Good ending but I liked the first chapter best. Good story.

If they acted like thinking people, this is how that relationship would have turned out.

I don't think Hermione would be with Ron regardless of what happen in the story. You can even see it from the way she refuse to commit to her "relationship" with Ron-it can only go from lingering to a break up.

"They are happy that they didn't have to break any hearts being selfish. That it was decided for them. That their brother was done being selfish and let them be selfish."

I think the word "selfish" is misapplied. Given how Hermione love Harry, yet Harry doesn't let her have her requited love, doesn't that mean he's selfish too. Just because Harry doesn't want to hurt the feelings of his best friend means that Hermione will not be really happy.

Also, Harry didn't do any dispicable acts like evilly bully Ron from Hermione, so even if he confess his love-he still wouldn't be selfish.

So as a minor point, I don't like the part about how you kept using the word "selfish" about their issues of love when they are not acting evil.

I like the Harry Hermione love, wedding and life together part.

I find myself liking this story a lot.

I like the behavior of Harry, Hermione and even Ron. Although I think with a bit more time, they would choose to choose each other for their love.

I know how "people" tried to be "selfless"-even to such a degree. But being forced away from the one you really love just doesn't work that. Even if Harry offers his romantic love to Hermione, as long as he did not despicable make Ron look bad or do something despicable to drive Ron away, then he wouldn't be "selfish".

The way how Harry Hermione just wishes to be together an NOT really committing to any other relationships is really good and believable. The part about how Hermione just refuse any deeper relationship with Ron is good. I like that part a lot.

Even Ron can see it would work because Harry and Hermione really love each other, even his selfishness wouldn't gain him real love, so he just wisely left to find love from Luna. That is just good.

Your story doesn't have the characters act like puppets. Instead, people can really understand the thoughts and feelings of the characters.
