Loved this chapter. It think is wonderful that Duo and Hilde hace that “shelter” for kids. I hope that doesn’t bring problems for them.
I’m surprised Heero wanted to talked about what happened (or rather, what he said). I thought he was going to endure Relena’s coldness in silence and pretend nothing happened. I do understand why Relena’s mad though. I mean, I AM mad at Heero for waiting until after Relena was married to tell her he loves her.
Anyway, I have absolutely no idea how this is going to end, so I’m looking forward the next updates. :)

Goddamn, these two chapters were worth a wait. I honestly have no idea where this fic can possibly go. I can't see how it can end happily? Will one of them die? Will David die-which I actually don't want happening... This is just one of those rare fics where I honestly have no idea where it's going to go. With so many other fics, even the great ones, you still know that a happy ending is headed your way somehow... With this one I have no idea. There are no easy answers to this one- I love it.

Your writing were so strong in both these chapters. It captured the vulnerability in these characters so damn well. I was almost afraid to read these two chapters b/c I was afraid I'd be left feeling almost as tender as Heero and Relena afterwards. I wasn't wrong. I'll be thinking about what's happened for a while until the next chapter. I love how I felt the same rage Relena is feeling after being rescued- her iciness towards Heero. I don't know if I've missed anything but I love how you've only hinted at the reason for her anger rather than explaining it to us all, just yet. Now I'm just waiting in anticipation to Heero and Relena's next encounter. I don't know how either of them will handle Litz. I don't know how Heero will handle himself. God, his perspective in this chapter was heart aching. How you were able to verbalize his burden of both protecting her, loving her, but never being able to acknowledge it infront of her. So well done. I cannot wait for the next chapter. It's going to be agony.

Wow. With the injuries “someone” sustained I thought they were really going to die. Thank you for updating so quickly! The next chapter teaser line got me. Definitely looking forward to some Duo shenanigans :D

Okey I LOVE the story so far but my girl Relena needs to lay off a bit lol.. I mean he JUST saved your life for the 100th time gurl maybe cut him some slack for being emotionally crippled! haha, and Heero needs to stop acting like such a SIMP ! Seriously I know the connection between them is so intense and their relationship has always been complicated as hell but what does she want exactly ? I’m so curious .. like can she seriously be in love with both Heero and David? Seems very unlikely but we’ll see I guess.. It might be kinda exciting to introduce a female character that has some sort of romantic thing with Heero? Just to spice things up and Get Relena a little worked up haha, I’ll always ship them together tho but it doesn’t hurt for Heero to have a thing on the side outside of Relena and her crazy world maybe then he’ll stop obsessing xD.. Yes even if you’re an ex Gundam Pilot a stalker attitude is never attractive just saying. lol

How is Heero's injuries healing? I feel like we didn't get enough on how Heero was healing/ feeling about his injuries. Or is this in the next chapter?

Did David thank Heero or treat him any differently for/ after saving Relena?

If this info regarding David isn't relevant for the story, then don't feel like you have to add it in. I was curious and thought I'd ask.

Last thing but after rereading chapter 4, you gave us a lot of forewarning. I feel foolish for ignoring it, in hindsight. It shows what an excellent writer you are.

I though the ending of chapter 6 was torturous but nothing compares to 7. I knew she would either fall and Heero would save her or they would both fall in; Wondering if she would survive. The way you described their descent, was masterful.

Loved this line "Protecting you at my own expense." And the comparison between Heero and Relena. You have truly captured the essence of who both are. Especially with Relena's realisation.

Now I need to go back and reread chapter 5/6, after that info reveal about Litz. It puts him in a new light ;)

OMG, that ending! Leave it to Heero to drop such a monumental declaration so casually. But that shows how sure he's about his feelings. If only he had let her know about them before :(

I've been reading this story since you first published it. In fact, when I first read "What We Know" I anticipated you writing a sequel so I was ecstatic when you started this fic. It's been a long time but it's been worth it.
I loved this chapter although it was also kind of painful to read, knowing how much they clearly love each other but knowing they can't be together because she's married. I just hope to God that Heero and Relena will end up together. C'mon, they both deserve happiness. Heero is obviously the love of her life, and she's his (sorry David, you are a great guy and all but that's how things are :P )
