Such a riveting story and what a cliffhanger! How will Lizzy react to Darcy's harsh words? What is the mystery about Anne? How will Darcy find out about Lydia, and is Wickham the father? This is such a well written story and I really hope you will finish. Hope all is well with you also!

This is a really poignant story, with a good sense weaving of character relationship dynamics from the past to the present. You can feel the tension between Elizabeth and Darcy...it draws you in like a tempest, also the very apt title of the story. Your writing is almost atmospheric...which is a very good thing.

Wherever you are in life, I hope you are successful, safe, healthy, and well. Even if this story is paused where it is, thank you so much for writing what you have.

Should you choose to return to fanfiction, there are so many fascinating directions this story could go. (For example, the impending visit from Georgiana could flair up old tensions about Wickam, or conversely, it could also bring the couple closer together by using Georgiana as a sisterly figure to converse around since her future debut is a worry. Alternativly, there are also interesting plot threads (like with the rose garden) where Mr. Darcy's grief over Ann could be explored further.

There is beauty in tragedy and in potential reconciliation. This story has a deeply romantic vibe to it in that the characters are waltzing around their love for one another, although it is tinted by angst, sadness, grief. The characters have to find their own forms of catharsis, but in doing so, there is hope anew.
