Eternal Night Owl chapter 1 . 4/14/2019 Poor Germany and Prussia! :( I've been curious about what their last meeting must've been like since I read how Prussia took Germany's place with Russia in DITR (which I'm very sorry I haven't reviewed in a while btw. I should probably get on that...). Anyway this is heartbreaking and now I finally see what you mean when you said Lithuania and Prussia are basically two sides to the same coin. |
sara989u chapter 1 . 3/21/2019 This. Is. AMAZING! |
BlvdofWritingDreams23 chapter 1 . 1/28/2018 This is an interesting take on Ludwig and Gilbert. I never would have thought to use the Potsdam Conference as a medium for the divisions of Germany and Prussia's fate, and Ivan choosing Ludwig over Gilbert for his value was an incredibly smart choice. It made Gilbert's fight all the more moving and bitter-tongued. Well done! I always thought Prussia would have been more the enthusiast about Hitler instead of Germany, but this surprised me, and the more I think about it, the more sense it makes, given nation ties and whatnot. The part describing Germany fearing himself having pride was especially well-written. Great job, Slovenskych! Sorry if it feels like I keep starting random conversations, but I just wanted to review. :) |
Dragonfire78 chapter 1 . 7/1/2015 Fantastic job on this one shot! I loved the arguments that you had Gilbert and France bring up because it shined a light on how they were feeling about everything! |
Sleepwalker48 chapter 1 . 6/23/2015 AHHHHHH I'VE PULLED THE BANDAID OFF AND READ IT AT LAST. I'm so glad I read this but FEELS. I can't help but share your ANGER with those classmates of yours! Romano exemplified their collective ignorance well, I think. Stupid Romano! I'm in the middle of reading Diamond in the Rough, and I wondered throughout the story how this meeting would have gone. It makes a lot of sense now, well done. Gosh dang it, I wonder occasionally if I would go through such extremes like that just to keep me sister safe! Prussia is a rash, condescending soul, but he's loyal to the bone and you've perfected that redeeming quality about him very, very well. Okay. I'm gonna go cry now. |
kcrb0202 chapter 1 . 3/9/2014 Im feels. You almost made me cry. |

NekoFye chapter 1 . 2/8/2014 It feels really good to see that some Americans or other People speaking this up to. Thank you! It IS true. We are still blamed. I almost feel that our history will never come to rest... I like this story. I love how Gilbert and Ludwig act with each other. I would almost want to read a sequel which happens in 1989 or even 1990 IF Gilbert survive all of this... I also love how Ludwig acts. It seems really accurate that he is afraid of the future and is concerened about Gilbert. He suffered aswell in that war and it is fully understandable that he acts the way he did. Even today I sometimes imagine that he would have his downtimes where he needs some support... Anyway this story is amazing! |
Mephistopheles7 chapter 1 . 2/6/2014 Poor Germany, Hitler really messed him up. This was great! |
