This notice made me sign in to my fanfiction account again after all these years. I am shaken to hear this news and I am so, so sorry for your loss. I had been following this fic ever since the first chapter was uploaded and every new release brought a bit of joy into my life. I have to thank your friend for that. This just happened to be my favorite Jelsa fic out of all the ones I've encountered in the archive. I did think it was strange when the fic went on hiatus for a couple of years, but I didn't feel impatient or anything. We all had our own lives after all. To hear from snowharvester in her last A/N that it was because she was battling cancer... I had no words. I apologize on behalf of all the immature readers who kept sending demanding comments to hurry up and update when they didn't understand that she could've been going through something.

Reading this notice now, I see that this story and the readers really meant a lot to her if she's seeing to it that it gets finished somehow even past her death. I'm genuinely moved. While I would completely understand if the fic had gotten dissolved after this, I will continue to support this story now that you're taking it upon yourself to finish it. I won't mind any inconsistencies with the writing. It's already enough that it's being finished.

I wish you all the best in writing this story. I will also remain grateful to your friend, who made this fic and made us jelsa shippers find warmth somewhere. I know you'll do a good job though. Good luck!

Holy fuck. No words can describe the amount of condolences I have right now. Finne Min Senter had always been The Jelsa fic I had been looking forward to the most, and it stayed that way even for 4 years.
You didn't have to pick up this fic, especially not after losing a friend like that, but yet you're going to for her sake and ours as well. I have nothing but respect for you, new author, and will be looking forward to reading your writing from now on. I hope you recover soon.
