I love the idea...which is why I tried reading this even despite seeing a Sess x San pairing even if I can't see Sango with a youkai let alone Sess. I only read SessKag (or TaishoKag) as Inu and Kag seem way too much like siblings, with Inu being a much younger brother - even 9yo Souta’s more mature, making IY and Shippo pretty much similar mental ages lol…but at least this wasn't a Sess x Rin pairing (that just seems incestuous to me) so I gave it a try.

I really wanted to love this - idea seemed interesting and I love a good long completed story...and I'd absolutely loved your other Skip Beat story - but sorry I'm hating snarky Sango so gonna stop here. Also Rin calling Sess “Master” just seems wrong to me (it’s right that he treats her as his ward and not his daughter here but she shouldn’t be talking to him like a servant, he’s never treated her like one, he’s just her “Sesshomaru sama”). Even Sess’s hate for San from the beginning vowing to kill her while ignoring Kag is weird. After all, Kag is the one who took out his coveted dad’s sword, and then handed it to Inu, and a big reason of why he lost his arm to Inu, and she’s always thwarting his attempts to get Tessaiga or fight Inu, and yet he pretty much ignores her and is even pretty civil to her (compared to Sango) and Sango he’s silently planning to kill just cuz she “gets under his skin”. Yeah, I can see why the snarky girl can get really annoying but it was just weird and very OOC, he doesn’t bother to really go out to kill Kag despite all that she does cuz she’s not worth it as a mere ningen, yet a few words from Sango…? Just a matter of personal taste but I don't like Sango here and really don't want to see her together with Sess haha. Also, almost human Inu x Kag kids're kinda boring, as are SessSan's hanyou kids too (most of the fun of IY universe are the youkais! :). Besides, unless youkais are thriving in the future as much as ningens (which considering their long lifespan probably not, and nowhere near the 7bn humans haha) and there's no chance of youkais dying out, I do hate the idea of them going extinct, even if it's cuz of their blood all getting diluted away...that's why I love SessKag pairing as her miko blood or power as the Shikon Miko can at least provide a reason for maybe full blooded pups...

A pity cuz I’m pretty sure with such a big group of kids, their kids are pretty cute (or not if they're grown up? lol)…anyway I’d love to have read this.

This story was awesome! I love Sango/Sesshoumaru as a couple and you did a phenomenal job with the hate to like/love path they traveled. I hope that you will maybe do another story for that couple in the future.

I know it was a while ago that you wrote this but i still wanted to say that it was wonderfuly written if not slightly confusing with all the names. i litteraly wrote a cheat sheat with the names. im disapointed you never finished it but knowing myself my brain will make its own ending.
