Ha, good math skills that one. Something I never considered, though if memory serves, Kakashi's mathematical warning was exactly the one used in canon, right? This whole concept is pretty interesting. Right now it seems like Ino's absence would mostly be a good thing, but I think that Ino has had good influence on Sakura, too- helping her have more confidence and ambition (as much as an 11 year old can have, anyway). Seeing those two opposing thoughts executed well would be a very good read.

I love this idea, and this characterization of Sakura. It actually makes her likeable pre-Shippuden. Plus, it's very well written and fun to read, so I hope you continue this. n_n

This is an extremely interesting idea and I think this first chapter was extremely well thought out and perfectly paced. I wonder, did Ino befriend Hinata? And Naruto seems to have a crush on her this time around so that's interesting. I'm curious to see how Sakura develops from this point on.

Her figuring out the bell test but in such a technical logical manner was great and I like that she was still part of the 'final/true test' with the food. Though her realizing that Kakashi could hide form them easily was also good.

I hope her intelligence and skill allows her to keep up with the team. I did imagine her skills would be higher if she wasn't focused on Sasuke but given her lack of confidence and fears instilled by bullies her being at more or less canon level, average chakra/strength/speed ETC makes sense. Hmmm, so will she be going into Genjutsu? It would certainly be a departure from her always being thrown into the medic nin role though given some of the enemies Genjutsu might not help much. Though there are plenty of other areas she could study to keep up with the team.

Itll be interesting to see how they develop and how Kakashi might treat them, or at least Sakura differently as time goes on. Looking forward to more!

Ooh I am so excited to see how this goes. Is Sakura going to be a genjutsu specialist? Or maybe a Sealing master, or maybe she could meet Lee and he could help her out with sparring! I think a shy Sakura and the normal Lee would be kinda cute, even if people aren't LeexSakura fans, you have to admit that would be cute. But then again, Sakura can be paired with just about anyone...
