Brilliant! I am so sorry for your loss , ive had friends that have had very bad depression and have talked about ranking their life I am ashamed to admit that I myself have very dark thought a sometimes and with noone to really talk to You kinda just hace to push through . Its so awsome that You have something to help You a bit , excelent Job!

Sometimes there's nothing you could've done right to stop something like suicide from happening. If they don't want anyone to know, no on will pick up on it. My aunt killed herself when I was seven, and I know there was nothing that could have been done to change that. Other family members give her husband shit for it. Just know that it does eventually heal the wounds her tragic death has caused her loved ones, but she will never be forgotten.

I'm sorry I didn't comment on anything of the story, but I just felt you needed to hear that...well, see it.

I'm sorry for your loss, and I hope that you can begin to feel better, even if it isn't for a while. Our lives are delicate, and the moments and events that occur can either make or break us. Believe that the moments shared with your friend added to her good things, but the good things don't cancel out the bad things and vise versa. Remember that your friend made an impact on your life, and that impact is strong and still going, let her help you be the best you can be.
Also great story, and best of luck with your writing. It's a tragedy you couldn't save her, but continue with your work to help save people from themselves. There are billions of people in this world, but sometimes all you need is one.

Firstly, I am so so sorry about the loss of your friend. Losing someone close to you is never easy, particularly under these circumstances. You didn't fail her, though, and you can't let yourself think that you did. It was up to her to come to you, particularly knowing you're experienced in handling these matters, and if she was determined to take her own life, there is nothing you could have done to convince her otherwise. My thoughts are with you, and her family and friends.

Secondly, onto the story - I love how supportive you made Ward and the way you write their friendship in this.

First of all, I am so sorry for your loss. I know that getting a sympathy note from a complete stranger means nothing but I've been there. I know what it is to suddenly lose a friend. It's the worst thing imaginable. You blame yourself because you didn't know and didn't do anything to stop it. But the truth is, this isn't your fault. So don't blame yourself. Rather than remembering them for this tragedy, you need to remember them as they were before. Keep the good memories with you always. That's how you keep them alive in your heart. (I'm sorry, I'm really not good at comforting.) I know how that feels, to just be in so much emotional pain with no one to hold you and tell you it'll be alright.
