I know it's been literally six years since you wrote this and maybe you've moved on with your life but I just had to comment. I just discovered this show (thank you pandemic, I guess) have after binge watching have been binge reading fics nonstop. I think I read this one early on before I even decided to make a new ffnet account. But after having made my way through a good chunk of other fics for this show I found this one again. And I have to say that this Jane's repeated "let me" is absolutely my favorite J/L seduction scene I've read. I'd be weak at the knees if I were standing. I think it might be my favorite seduction scene I've ever read for any fandom in any fic or even in the few smut scenes I've come across in widely published work too. I guess asking permission is.. really hot? Anyway this might be the bar against which I compare any other M scenes I ever read.
