For ideas for upcoming chapters, you can look to mystery novels, even just reading the abbreviated version (cliff notes, possibly even the summaries). You could take a few 'clues' from one, mix them in with another & make a story based on those. It won't solve your 'struggle' to write a mystery story, but it may make it a bit easier. Just keep doing what you've been doing about crediting your sources.
I've really enjoyed reading your stories so far (I've read most of them). I look forward to reading more from you if the future.
I hope (even when you've struggled) that you enjoy writing these stories with such interesting ideas (& overall plots), as much as I've enjoyed reading them.
I hope if you ever decide to stop, (which I don't think any of your readers want), that you Please finish the ones you've already started & continue to keep them online (for future readers).
