DeiZ124 chapter 12 . 3/7/2014 It's authors like you that keep me reading fanfiction. I almost felt like the story could have been ended there, but I really never will ever want this story to end. |
TheGreatness1 chapter 11 . 3/4/2014 Things seem to be sorting out at long last, which is good. Yet you've still clearly shown that there was collaterol damage throughout the escapade, making it moving and emotional. I wonder what'll happen when it comes to tying up looses ends, but im sure you'll do it well. This story is really good, so few truly get across how hard a relationship with an immortal person would be, no less their families opinions. Excellent stuff. |
CeliaB chapter 11 . 3/3/2014 Another great update! It's seems unlikely though that Madanach would not be driven to distraction (and disclosure) being around his wife with his infant granddaughter. |
TheGreatness1 chapter 10 . 2/28/2014 Loved this chapter, all these things coming up are really intersting, like the baby for one. Also that fight was brilliant, i especially liked the way you showed that the main character wasn't invinvible, and that Sabrida came through in te end doing the right thing |
Fenrisulfr chapter 9 . 2/27/2014 Down-right awesome chapter in how it holds to promise the impending clusterfuck that is Liriels escape/Madanach being reuinited with his beloved. While it is true I simply can't wait for the next instalment of TTB, I must say this is a really... REALLY well written chap. All the internal struggle on Mad's part concerning both abducted wife and skooma is brilliant, and it's nice to see some more of Borkul. His whole hearted support of Madanch warms the hole where my real heart used to be. Also Madanach/Argis interaction is allways a treat for you write it sooooo well! Swift Elisif cameo is nice as well, good to see she be growing a backbone towards her previous husband's supporters in her Court. Also; thanks for answering my question on Deepwood Vale, kinda knew what you were going to say but always nice to know the ferryman knows where yer goin' as well as where ye been ya know? XD All around a fuck-awesome chapter! Can't wait for the next one, though I'll have to due to moving to another country, but still! Keep up the awesomeness that is you and all will be alright! /Fenris |
TheGreatness1 chapter 9 . 2/27/2014 Another good chapter, things arre getting tense it seems. I hope Liriels parents don't get killed though, despite their shortcomings they still love her and want whats best for her. Plus the dad seems quite nice, and the mum sounds hot. |
Guest chapter 8 . 2/25/2014 Also had a question I just remebered; Cwm Prendwemyn, aka Deepwood Vale, the second major Forsworn City... have you moved it further South in story? Cause as I remember it (and I looked it up on the maps found on the Skyrim wiki) it lies North of Reach territory... actually, it lies well into Solitude territory in Haafingar Hold... Or are you saying that Elisif allowed Madanach to build a new town on her land? Because if it still lies in Haafingar Hold there are a number of problems with who's laws the town is under and to whom it pays its' taxes... I doubt no matter how close Elisif and Madanch gets she would just cede a huge chunk of land to him? Keep up the awesome though! /Fenris |
Fenrisulfr chapter 8 . 2/25/2014 Madanach is baaack! And the "Act of Regency"-thing was brilliant, had you just thrown it in there, no matter how progressive you've made Madanach, it would have rang a bit out-of-touch in context of the shall we say "Enlightened Medieval" setting that is Elder Scrolls, but you even established that in continuity with a believeble reason for Madanach to come up with it. You are freaggin awesome! Also; I apologise for calling Madanach & Liriel bipolar, had actually forgotten that Liriel is actually not that old Altmer-wise and that this is her first serious relationship if not her first relationship period. And Madanach having some quirks from his 20-year stint in a cave-prison I didn't even Think of. You hid it well by portraying him as more than competent a warlord and ruler, but now that I know it I can see it in small things through out both this fic and the one before it. My heart goes out to Lucia and Eola for having to see their father in the throws of serious addiction. Keep up the awesomeness! /Fenris |
birgittesilverbow chapter 8 . 2/23/2014 Well, the vampire armour did have strange effects on Liriel, it had to be said. What it said about her that she liked killing powerful men, taking their things and then getting her husband to dress up like them, Madanach didn't know, but he'd accept the gifts. *laugh* So glad they snapped Madanach out of it! Divines, he'd better get to Liriel and family before Cicero... |
CeliaB chapter 8 . 2/23/2014 I've come to this fic late. I've never had much interest in Reachmen, and couldn't imagine a Thalmor-raised Altmer Dragonborn being a sympathetic character, so I avoided this based on the summary. I stand tall today shouting "I was wrong". This is very well written and generally great. There are heavy doses of humour mixed with the drama and fluff, and each character's voice seems genuine. The Cicero depiction here is spot on and not heavy handed, Eola and Lucia are both done well, and our protagonist couple are superb. Aaaand, I hope that Lirel's parents get dropped off the coast of Elsewyr by Odahviing. |
TheGreatness1 chapter 8 . 2/23/2014 Another great chapter, i wonder how Liriel will react finding out what happened to Madanach with the Skooma and Sanguine |
TheGreatness1 chapter 7 . 2/22/2014 Things are getting very tense and filled with drama in this chapter, it was nice to hear about her parents backstory, especially in such an emotional way. Also, as for Madanach and his Skooma struggle, well done, you very much get across his issues and how they are effecting him to this point, making for a lot of character development. Finally the Sanguine/Madanach was a nice touch, I'm glad to see you're open and accepting about sex like that, and are happy to promote a healthy respect of orientation without judging. And that you weren't just putting it in to bolster the smut, but to actually show character and personality traits along with sexuality being good. (kind of petered at the end when it comes to making sense, but i'm tired so meh) |
Fenrisulfr chapter 7 . 2/21/2014 By the Blood of Hircine! I can't wait for Liriel to come out of that paralazys spell. I mean, they cant reasonably keep her under paralazys or drugs all the way to alinor, so they are pretty much fucked... The Listener of the Dark Brotherhood, Archmage of Winterhold, Queen of the Reach and fucking Ysmir, Dragon of The North and Slayer of Alduin... Yea, I'd like to see them contain her for much longer... she could level the Thalmore Embassy, or any town in Skyrim really, to the ground all on her own, even in this slightly more realistic setting you have going... Can't wait for the next chapter, flove this story, and the series, to fucking pieces! Keep up the awesomeness that is you, ya? And all will be alright! XD /Fenris |
TheGreatness1 chapter 6 . 2/20/2014 Nooooooo! That was so sad! You really like to drive the emotion home don't you? Really make us feel everything. I hope their relationship gets better in the end. Excellent work and writing, so few stories genuinely move me, and this is one, so well done. I look forward to future work from you. |
Fenrisulfr chapter 6 . 2/18/2014 Wait!? Haven't they been through this once Before? I feel like they have, and they resolved that right? These to might just be one of the, if not The most bipolar couples I read about... and their standart reaction to when the shit hits the Dwemer fan in the relationship? Giv up and separate... for a while, cause they van't stay away from one Another anyway... I want to line up Liriel and Madanach and kick them both in their respective asses... on the edge of Bard's Leap Summit! Perhaps the boost to speach when and if they survive might help them talk out their problems more... Still awesome chapter, freaking love the supporting cast in this, although it almost feel like a disservice to call them that. More Nepos, Eola and Cicero for the People! Keep up the awesomeness that is you and your Writing Ms K! /Fenris |
