I've just stumbled across this and oh my lord what a gem. Brilliantly written, perfect characterisation and dynamic - very them but not OTT kinky... they have children! And papa Lucius is just freakin goals (not to mention Luciousbpossessive bastard lucius is unnngh) honestly astounding - what I didn't even know I'd been looking for. Hands down amongst my favourite lumione Fics!

This isn't a review technically, its more a "take it off my chest" type rant.
I found this story originally at the end of 2018, which was definitely a tough year for me. And I read it. Literally in two days and two nights, with maybe a 2 -3 hour nap in between those two days. I couldn't stop or do anything but see it through to the end. Hermione and Lucius might have saved me from I now dub "the silence". Obviously over the years I've had a few of them, the ones where you can't get out of bed, can't eat, can't sleep, every thought has you gasping for air, or barely stopping a tear or two before it becomes a full on sob. But this particular fanfiction is my Hail Mary. I can't begin to tell you the amount of times I've almost curled up in a ball only to just pull up your story and read myself to calm. So I want to thank you. I've somehow trained myself to read In Absentia rather than continue having anxiety attacks or fall into my mini depression episodes.
