It's good. I think that you need to give your sentences more variety instead of them all being fairly long. And more description.

"It was slow way of gaining information, but his mind was slow anyway." I really like the idea of having John read to Sherlock when he's too weak to absorb the information himself. I think it suits their friendship well. :)

For being a non-native English speaker, you write very well. Sometimes there are mistakes or your world choice is confusing, but your stories are easy to understand and enjoyable to you for your efforts!

I love this little look 'behind the scenes' (I appreciate it's not canon, but I like the way you did it) and I think you've captured each character's unique personality really well; Sherlock, reserved know-it-all who can't help but show off from time to time. Cold, calm, and collected but he will do anything for his friends, the only ones who can bring out his soft side; John, polite, friendly, smart (but not Sherlock-smart), curious (in a way), cares deeply about his friends; Mycroft, smart (Sherlock-smart, MAYBE smarter, we don't know), cool, calm, collected (much like his brother), but (as much as he detests mentioning it, acknowledging it, or acting on it) he loves his family and would go to great lengths for them.

I could go on but I think that you must understand each character really well to write about them as you do, putting their character into everything they do.
I can't wait for further chapters (if you decide to write some!)
