Aww, this was a very sweet and heartfelt fic. I always expected that photo to come up again in the series and it never did. It's interesting to see your take on it. John and Finch are just so tragic together when they start getting deep and meaningful and you captured that perfectly.

Harold and John have the whole 'it was all my fault' thing in common. I like the idea of Joss keeping the photo to spare John.

You have a good ‘ear’ for how both Finch and Reese talk – speech patterns, cadence, vocabulary. This was a delight to read and I think fills in the missing parts of the relationship the two men have.
