Good fic. Wish Harry would just kill fudge. Also, why is the French Minister always alone and powerless?

I just read everything, the first 19 chapters without exception I loved them, however, with this last one I have mixed feelings, I feel that you go too far from the canon and I fear that this is the reason for the abandonment / hiatus in the story, I understand and to a certain extent I agree with the punishment imposed by the panel, however, I feel that the obligation to be alone during the mission is excessive, with the tutor I know that you are trying to get out of the cliche but with the situation I feel that Sirius is not the best tutor for Help him, even ideally Albus himself would be the best, but if perhaps with a gap in the rules, Sirius can accompany him on his journey, I'll be waiting for an update.

This task, of finding a replacement for the goblet of fire, can be easily accomplished. Just use the Sorting Hat! Also, Harry's reaction to the consequences should he fail is odd. I mean, yeah he'll be expelled from Hogwarts but he should have realized by now that he'll only have a short while with Fleur; being expelled is a blessing in disguise.

Great Story so far. But seriously... St. Lungos? Couldn’t you have tried a little harder there? Maybe give it a French name? I mean what’s the magical hospital in Germany called? St. Dungos?

Why would Harry actually go look for a replacement? Why does he care about Britain when he clearly has so few attachments to it, and most of those attachments are negative? His bonded partner lives in France? Like just say no dude, get the fuck outta there, seek refuge elsewhere. And now him and Fluer have to be separated for some incredibly arbitrary reason, all because he’s seemingly putting his desire not to get banished over his bond with Fluer, which makes no sense. Why would Harry care about anything but Fluer in this situation? It seems very much out of character. And so they’re going to separated, made to suffer, why exactly would they actually agree to this? Seriously it seems like every single character in this story have collectively decided to fuck over our protagonists for the lol’s.

I’m sorry but this just seems super forced when there are alternatives that are so obvious that’s is actually painful to read the characters completely ignoring them.

I don’t understand the hate for bond stories, I really don’t. I really like this piece of work, there’s a lot of love and care thrown in and I do so love how you’ve built up the bond and established rules and procedures, very different from others.

Additionally it’s refreshing to see Ron (especially) and Hermione being on Harry’s side through it all. Moreover Jeffroi’s character, though not often seen, is a wonderful addition and I do hope we get a chance to see more of Fleur and her family at some point, but it’s your story!

That being said I also love how you’re taking this in a different direction from the standard 4th year path. Honestly I can’t wait to read more! I know it has now been almost three years since the last update, but I do hope that you come back to finish your tale. Either way, this has been a fun read! Great work!

I'm happy this is dead.
I loathe magical bond stories where the pair are arbitrarily seperated like this.
especially when said separation has negative effects for both parties.

it's then kind of situation that would have me instantly giving Mr Delacour's card back to him and requesting sanctuary in France.

the very worst kind of bond stories are ones like this where it becomes apparent that you treat the bond like your personal bitch to create tension, when the entire story becomes "how can we cause immense suffering with the bond today?"

This is so stupid, Fleur can't be expelled for doing nothing and their headmistress is a half giant, who would believe her anyway. Also, why would harry even try to find a impartial Judge? He would be banned from Britain, but his Bondmate literally lives in France solving that whole BS of a ruling. As soon as I heard that ruling I would be going to Gringotts, moving all of my money and saying peace to that dreary island
