I wasn't very sure why I ship these two. This fic made me realize why. I feel like it's Jayne's gruff, mercenary spirit being calmed by Simon's fluff-and-lace Core planet upbringing. You did fantastic capturing the character's personalities and Jayne's way of speaking. I wish you would have made different parts of the fic longer, though. For instance, how Simon got hurt, or a deeper look into either of their thought processes as they start to develop their softer feelings. Also, I love how you centered 'thank you' around everything!
