Really sorry that I've reached this chapter but it doesn't mean the end since I could go back to this any time. :) I love this story a lot and I think this could be an episode from the show itself, really. I would have loved to see one where it focused on the Charming family's adventures within Storybrooke or just within their household much like what you've shown here. This is amazing work as ever. :)

By the way, nice touch on that little line about Emma skating past irritated and right into pissed off. That reminded me a lot of Piper Halliwell saying something along those lines sometime in season 2 twice in an episode or was that two episodes. Haha. :)

I almost never leave reviews cause I just never really know what to say, but I just had to for this story. I found this last night and just read it all in one shot it was so good. It was also truly and completely heartbreaking. I loved all the cute little Emma moments and loved how she found her family in the end but let me tell you I spent a good part of this story trying not to cry, and eventually just gave up on that and cried my way through the last chapters of this. I just have such a real connection with Emma. I didn't grow up in the foster system, but I did grow up with parents that were divorced, and spent more time fighting each other than time taking care of me. I never really felt loved, I had to grow up way too fast and feel like I didn't really get to have a lot of those traditional childhood moments just like Emma. I was never abused, just sort of neglected I suppose, in that I was told to leave them alone, or to go to my room. The phrase 'children should be seen and not heard' was pretty popular until I just learned to shut up completely and keep to myself. As a result I have walls very similar to Emma in that I don't share anything, (even this is really really hard to type out, and I didn't even have the intention of typing all this out but I guess I just needed to say this) but I keep everything safely in my walls and reading this just completely broke my heart in so many ways. I won't go into details in all those ways cause I really don't want to bother you, but I did want to say that I really loved this story, (I actually love a lot of your stories and have spent last night reading a few different ones, all of them are amazing of course!) but this one was just really special to me. I can't wait to get a little older and adopt some lovely little kids and be able to give them the kind of love and attention you perfectly captured in this story, the kind of love and attention every child deserves. Anyways before this gets much longer... thank-you for such an amazing story! It was beautifully written and touching and I loved every minute of it.

Perfect story is perfect. I absolutely loved the story, from start to end. The characters were right on point and the way the whole story develop made seance and had logic. The fact that you had a little Emma was an extra, since I love little Emma.
