Some how I just knew that sooner or later we would get to a chapter about "crazy mother Grimm" finding out about Nicky's relationship with Monroe and her warning him. Like you said going from the one you would find the least threatening, to the most. Juliette doesn't have supernatural abilities or political vocational powers/influence she can use so it still works despite the scary and threatening bag.
Now in tandem with one of the others yeah she definately is more possible as a threat.

Makes you wonder what part Monroe played in helping run off other more fair weather "special friends" of nick's. But since he is one of the few that know Nick as well as he does it does make sense that all aspects of his life are giving Monroe a warning, from good friends to reps from the wessen community to partners and coworks and even his boss who has a foot in both worlds to his scary mother who wants to protect her "little baby boy". I love it, but sooner I am wondering if after the 2.0 with Rosalee is anyone else talking to Nick. Is he going to find his mom's box and realize people are warning his mate. Or is he does he notice how upset and parnoid Moroe is getting and do something to fix this situation. Whether R and R or tellilng people to back off his Blutbad in his own way. Just random thoughts but love the story thank you!

*giggles* Yeah, the threatening gets skewed once you factor in that Juliette is a /vet/ and Monroe a wolf. Plus, this is the woman who /threw a pot of boiling water/ on the scary thing trying to kill her and her boyfriend which was also kicking Nick's ass.

I think it makes sense that Rosalee is the one to warn Nick about hurting Monroe. Plus, after Organ Grinder we know that humans are useful in all sorts of ways; especially a Grimm's.
It works in the story because after being threatened by Rosalee, Nick may start to ask a few questions about Monroe's behavior. As it was said in Hank's chapter Nick seems oblivious to some things that aren't immediate threats. But if Rosalee will threaten the local "Bogy Man", who wouldn't hesitate to threaten the "Big Bad Wolf" for his well being? Food for thought Nick
