Lovely story featuring the whole cast and showing everyone in a good light.
I loved your take on the possibility for Gibbs to be a father again with a biological child of his own. It isn't often that the writers highlight so much how being a real dad in the here and now would allow Gibbs to feel joy again. That's the main thing he lost with Kelly and Shannon : Gibbs isn't able to feel joy anymore. Even with his paternal feelings towards Tony (which I support totally) that we can gather from the show, he isn't happy in in most inner core.
So I was really happy to read your well-thought and well-written story, with so many good feelings and emotions. The idea of Tony comfortable with the little LJ was an additional nice touch.
Too bad you never wrote a sequel as you intended to do.

You wrote a very entertaining, exciting and enjoyable story. I hope you will write a sequl to this story featuring a slightly older LJ.

Darren is a piece of work, to make a baby take a cold bath and beat him to get back at the mother. Once he is caught and inprisoned the inmates will take care of him...they hate child abusers...all Gibbs needs to do is drop the hint

Whoever abused that Gibbs son is going to regret it.

I was determined to read this story and not like it as it is so not going to happen. Ok I was wrong I really enjoyed done.
