I realise I’m quite a few years late for this but this story is worth leaving a review. Generally, I don’t like first person POV fics so I was tempted to stop reading almost immediately. Luckily I didn’t and I am now in love with the writing style you use. It feels so personal and real but quirky and unique at the same time. You absolutely nail all the characters and I love how you integrated scenes from the show. This is one of the only fanfics I’ve read which seem like it could be published in a standalone novel. Although we know and love the characters, I feel as if anyone could pick this up and not feel excluded. I have no idea if you will ever read this review but thanks for writing something that made me happy even after the Japril on the show is (maybe) over.

I’m a little late to the party w/ this story and w/ discovering Japril in general. But I have to say that this is one of the most imaginative, creative, well-written Japril fics I’ve ever read. The tone of the story and your writing technique kept me engaged the entire way through. I loved the ‘who done it’ vibe and how you wrote Japril’s friendship and comfort with one another. I also loved how you took pivotal Japril moments and wove them into your story in new and interesting ways. This story has become one of my favs! ️

Love this story I’ve read it many times but I can’t stop coming back to it. If you ever wrote a sequel or prequel I’d totally read it! Love your stuff, keep it up

It took me roughly 12 hours to read the entire fic (with breaks of course), and I don't even regret a single thing.

I do hope you will continue to write Japril fics, cause I can't get enough of it. There can never be too much Japril for me rn. And you are one hell of a writer! I love the ramblings, the inner monologues, I live for them!

PS: You freaking nailed April Kepner's character, and I love you for that.

Ive read so many stories here, honestly, just for the romantic storyline, but yours was the first one that i was so invested in, especially with April's spirituality. The lessons in the story were important and touching and so well conveyed. Props to you! Brilliant writing.

Wow! Just, wow. I loved tbis story. When I first read the synopsis, I was a bit sceptical. I usually don't like to many AU's, but you have weaved such an interesting and compelling version that I couldn't stop reading. I love this April and how she monologues with herself. And anything where she and Jackson end up together is a plus in my book. Great job.

Wow! This is definitely one of the best fics I have ever read ever. April was SUCH a badass and I loved it so much more than the usual damsel in distress she's usually portrayed as. 12/10 would recommend!
