Kirito and friends are smiling now. But just wait until they find out what ACTUALLY happened to Yuya. I won't dare spoil it but just you all wait.

Glad to see another chapter in this fic again. With things progressing as they are, it makes me wonder if the AR Idol Yuna from the SAO movie will be making an appearance? Or if Kugai Kudo/Kamen Rider Saver and Alfred/Kamen Rider Tyrant will be making appearances as reinforcements sent in by the "Neo United Alliance of Evil". (Which is what I'll refer to Dark Decade's organization as until an official name is given.) If the 2 Dark Riders do make a return at some point, Ryoma and Kaito will certainly be in for an unpleasant reunion.

Great chapter right here. Still, you delivered as always.

This is an adaptation of Gaim's episode 12 but it had a LOT of changes that I want to point out:

-You really brought up Kirito and Asuna here in their plans and dealings with Yggdrassil as opposed to Kouta and Micchy in canon. The two argued about what should they do about the Yggdrassil situation but Asuna tried to stop Kirito because she's worried for this well-being, due to her experience back then, especially in ALO. And in the fight that followed: Micchy is standing there hesitant to transform. In this story, Asuna is hesitant yet decided to help Kirito due to his boyfriend's courage. Not only they fought together, but it totally solidify their relationship as a couple. When you make a decision, especially a life-changing one, there's no turning back. Finally, Asuna understands this. I want to see these two grow together as the story progresses.

-Kaito fought Bujin Gaim instead yet Kougane stopped him. Still, the ALO Lockseed is a mystery. Speaking of mysteries, Yui suddenly encountered a Helheim crack makes things interesting.

-The Team Baron-Team Raid Wild scene is refreshing due to its changes: we have Hase with his Sengoku Driver intact and when Jonnouchi decided to help him, he got his rear kicked by none other than Alice/Idunn! So yeah, Team Baron finally had two Riders! And I like you made her having a nice personality, just like in the light novels yet different from Alice Synthesis Thirty while retaining her badassness in the form of a Rider. Good writing with that one.

-And yes, with Hase and Jonnouchi. Unlike in the TV series where Jonnouchi left a hopeless and powerless Hase, both of them went to Oren to seek help. It's both funny and at the same time, helpful. That's because we're gonna see these two grow as characters.

-And your OC, Neon. His introduction is hilarious that he and Shino met in ALO... and in the same school! Not only that, he is also Ryoma Sengoku's assistant!? And good thing his Lockseed is "L.S.-29", "L.S.-MESSIAH". If anything, the Gaim Gaiden Duke V-Cinema takes place before the Gaim-Wizard film. But anyways, I wonder how will this turn out. And I can see Shino and Neon being together, unless there is a creep lurking down there...

Now the anime adaptations of the Alicization arc and the Alternative GGO light novel is now announced (with the latter will be released in April this year), perhaps you can get some ideas or references from those at the time of release. Since the Ordinal Scale film is now on home video, hope you also get ideas as well, especially the ARVRMMO concept. I would like to see Eiji and Yuuna in your story whether in cameos, shoutouts or being part of the main story itself, it's up to you.

This is pretty good. I like it, even if it's a bit less dark since Gaim is supposed to be dark in a way.

all in all a good chapter i am loving the camaraderie between the kirito, asuna (obviously), shino, yolko, kotone, and akira, its very refreshing compared to the slaughter-fest gaim eventually became, though i know it honestly can't last and based on what i've seen on sonic's DA page i'm glad i'll finally have context on that character

Yay, this fic is back! One of my favorite crossover stories have finally updated! You're right: it's almost 2 years!

By the way, this is a brilliant adaptation of episode 11, which I want to point out:

-There are a LOT of changes that I really liked in this chapter: Zangetsu mentioning his name to Oren and you didn't destroy Hase's Driver. What a surprise, it is. So perhaps this will totally lead to the Charmant Trio of Oren, Hase, and Jonnouchi and I expect that these guys will get character development, especially Hase. Oh, and the fight between Ryugen and Zangetsu was done differently because Shino had Yolko as a backup.

-You've done a very good job in Alice's first fight as Idunn and she fought both Bujin Gaim and Jam/Kougane? Wow, you made her a total badass in this. Because in the Alicization arc in the light novels (which it ended last month), she's indeed a badass. You've made Idunn awesome in her first fight. Can't wait for her to meet up with Kirito and Asuna; and in case of the latter, it will be both a friendship AND a rivalry. But that's just me, though...

-And of course, Kirito's reactions and motivations upon finding out they were guinea pigs for Yggdrassil? This was done differently from canon Gaim where Kouta is the only who is mad. But here, it's not just Kirito, but also Asuna, Kotone, and even Shino. And their experience back in SAO. I love Kirito's line with "We were used once back in SAO. We won't used ever again." Strong words, Kirito.

-And who's the new character? I'm now curious. Gonna ask my buddy SonicHeroDX for that. :)

-Nice plot point on Dark Decade, though. And what's with the ALO Lockseed? Does that mean there will be another alternate world this time? Actually, I LOVE that idea. UnderWorld Lockheed when? :3 Anyhow, I just want to remind you that there is a recently announced S.I.C. figure for Gaim and it was called 'Kamen Rider Gaim Natsumikan Arms', which is more like a female version of Gaim using the Natsumikan Lockseed. And guess what, it was none other than Natsumi who holds it! Upon that announcement, I was thinking that a Decade-Gaim crossover chapter could be a possibility. Perhaps Chelsea should hold it? Well, it's up to you.
