Toph being Mushu is a stroke of genius. I thought it was pretty neat how you put the pieces of the AU together:
idea of the reason that Katara can't enlist as being a limitation from the Water Tribe, Hahn being an absolute piece of work. And the final scenes back home are perfect - love the subtle proposal too :)

This is so cute and well done! I loved the way you slowly dropped exposition until by the end the whole thing made sense, and also that Zuko didn't care that she was a girl (nice change from the movie). I really liked the whole thing, especially ancestor-spirit Toph! :)

Honestly, it's the best crossover I can imagine. I loved Mulan as a kind and bringing it and ATLA together is pure magic. Toph is great, which shouldn't come as a surprise, 'cause she's always great, but anyway I really enjoined the way you fit her into the story. Just wow!

I'm not sure if you can still read my review, but here it goes... I both loved Mulan and ATLA. But, I can't appreciate what you did in this fanfic. It seems you rip of the scenes and lines from Mulan and changed the characters' names to fit the ATLA dimension. It's just so wrong. It is plagiarism. You even copy the lines word for word. I think its better if you've put some twist in the story without dishonoring both Mulan and ATLA. But, to be fair, I like your choice of characters. I think Toph suits being Mushu's counterpart.

Toph in Mushu's ancestral spirit role is a concept that I didn't know I needed! But I'm grinning sooo hard at all the snark and trolling going on! and she is literally Katara's spirit animal in this, which is fantastic! Plus Zuko such an adorkable babe!

This is great! It has the perfect balance of elements (pun not intended) from both Mulan and A:tLA, all the characters act as they should (especially Toph who made me laugh every time she appeared) and all in all, it's just a great story :) Please write more Zutara!
