Oh my god what a perfect story! congratulations and hope you do more.

Just rereading and had to review again hear because I’ve already reviewed the last chapter! Still love this story so much! So weird that it’s now actually 2019. Anyway, again it was beautiful and that last scene brought me to tears again, so yeah, good job :P

You deserve a review for every chapter, I swear. you had me so hooked up! I started this last night and finished it up already in less than 24 hours. Had no internet though *facepalm*
I love the persona you have created for the doctor, his relationship with Jack and the Master, Rose and Donna and Jackie... Just wow... It was amazing and breathtaking and someone ought to give you an award!

Oh my goodness I just went back and reread the last chapter of this (I wasn't sure if I had ever read the ending or not, I had) and it almost made me cry it was so awesome! Great job!

This is the second time I've read this story, and I just can't get over how good it is. Your characterization is perfect, and the story immerses you and makes you laugh and cry, and it is most definitely my favorite of all the AU's I've read. Thank you for this story.

I loved everything about this story. .thing. I apologize if it's weird of me to be posting a review this long after the story's publication, but I found it on one of the Dr. Who communities and I couldn't NOT tell you how much I liked it. I loved the seamless way you placed the characters into the AUverse, managing to capture each individual voice. I loved the nods to minor characters. I loved the dialog and the plot and the pace. But most of all, I loved that I didn't feel like I was reading fanfiction. It felt like a novel I'd picked up at the library or downloaded onto my kindle, only with characters that felt familiar. I had a ton of shit to do today, but did I do any of it? I did not. I sat here on my couch and read your story all the way through and it was amazing.

Ah giving this a reread because it was such a good story :) here's to filling my lazy afternoon to bask in your awesomeness :)

I loved this story! It was AWESOME! I wish there were more stories like this... where the Doctor is actually John Smith, just a regular human... don't get me wrong I love the Doctor... but still the stories with him as a human are awesome, i read your other story ''A New Kind of Human Nature,'' and I must say you are an exceptional author, keep it up!

Oh, we've come to the end! And...

... I haven't read it yet. I started to, I peeked a bit, but then, nope. I'm not ready for this journey to end just yet. So, I've decided to go back and keep reviewing until I get here and then read for the very first time.

The Skies Darken- Just another way to let us know this isn't going to get better soon, nope it's getting worse.

And the scene at the first just breaks my heart, because before he thought he had to be dreaming or hallucinating and wanted to wake up. Now he wants to close his eyes and dream, if he gets her, and she's urging him to wake up. So sad.

*scowls* And he totally misses the whole meaning of her telling him to wake up and see what's in front of him, going straight to self-destructive mode.

Jake and Mickey look after their own stomachs by tempting Rose with being so close to Ian's office... that sounds about right.

Ian refuses to see Rose, thus beginning my simultaneous impulse of wanting to hug him and strangle him at the same time (this will last for several chapters until he gets his head out of his- let's just say you might want to prepare yourself).

And, as everybody has been sticking their nose in Rose's situation with Ian, it's kind of nice to see that turned back around now on Jake and Sally. :)

"Take. The. Bloody. Phone." LOL, intimidating Rose cracks me up!

Lucy shows up. I've always had mixed feelings about her (mostly felt sorry for her) but never know quite how to take her in fanfics. She shows up as everything from the evil villain to the damaged (not just distressed, already damaged) damsel and I'm always a little leery about her. And Ian's reaction to her did nothing to ease my anxiety.

But it appears that here she's nothing more than someone damaged learning to love again, which is nice. I see that she mentioned the letter and it makes me wonder if Ian will put that together later.

An interesting and melancholy note to end a chapter that was a bit of a whirlwind of emotions itself. I look forward to what the next chapter brings. Okay, I'm a little anxious, but still, looking forward to it!

They're happy tears, I promise! My goodness, what an incredible story. The two parts that really did me in for this chapter were the bit about Ian having the adventure that he never thought he could and the end where he says he was waiting to meet Olivia for "oh, such a long time". Just beautiful. Thank you for sharing your incredible work, it has been a joy to read.

I have loved every minute of this story. I've re-read it a couple times (while in progress) and it was even better the second and third times. It's been a marvelous story on it's own, and with using the established characters, I've just adored it. Bravo!
