Guest chapter 1 . 12/10/2017 Excellent work. You made me feel what the characters felt and twisted my heart through their pain. The pair is unique and refreshing, and your word choice is moving. I've read some of your other works, and you seem to have a talent for creating lovable characters. Keep up the good work! |
Starheart57 chapter 1 . 5/15/2016 Wow. This story was great for the feels! Amazing read! |
EyeofAmethyst07 chapter 1 . 4/13/2016 I... I feel like Shauntal from Black and White. 'For all the words I know... Putting my feelings into words would just be a trap.' This is beautiful. And, to go against Farla, I think the fact that it is disjointed only makes it even better. That's the idea with these rarer, deeper fics. You don't understand, you FEEL... Well done. I hope to see more from Chandelure, seeing as how there are barely any stories about it. Thank you, truly. Write on, EyeofAmethyst07 |
Ephemeralism chapter 1 . 3/28/2014 Wow, that was very deep :') I always felt something mysterious and sad irony with Chandelure. Beautiful and keep writing! |
Farla chapter 1 . 1/20/2014 Semicolons do not indicate sophisticated or intelligent writing, even when grammatically correct. Use sentence-connecting semicolons sparingly, judiciously, and only when the ideas in the clauses are inseparable. If you have a semicolon sitting between a pair of sentences because the sentences are kind of, sort of related, it just makes you look pretentious. And well...that was weird and rather disjointed. There are a lot of good poetic chunks floating around, but they don't really come together, and there's this odd mixing of a weird setting made of absolutes (capital-N Nothing where no time passes and they're just living in some weird void) and the fact that he can just walk out and find sunlight. It's also not clear why she couldn't just leave and get him to come out by doing that. |
beanboy21 chapter 1 . 1/19/2014 This story is absolutely wonderful! It is so beautiful, so touching, so haunting. The characters are wonderful and perfectly portrayed, and you manage to make the setting work quite well. I almost passed this up but am glad I did not. This is perhaps the best eerie romance i have read on the site. Keep up the good work, and God Bless. |
