Aw I love how the jacuzzi scene and how they're going to have a family weekend

Hum, so, that was perfect sweetness, I feared for a moment that it was Rossi accidentally shooting Mudg that ended his/its (?) life but that's way better :), I really loved the "acceptance" scene and the end is amazing, Blake's line is for the better.

Awww, poor Mudgie. This story had me in tears at times...I always am more upset when a dog dies in a book or movie because it reminds me that my own dog is getting older and I dread the day she isn't here with me anymore. You did a great job writing this and I'm glad they found another dog to love!

What an awesome finale, to bring the team into it and have them watch a video with Jack playing with Max. Such a cute game it was too. My sister has a yellow lab, Mitchie, who is adorable. She's 5 now and she also loves toys, unlike my dogs who were abandoned on the road so they don't really know how to play with toys.

Two thumbs up for a job well done. Yes, the first few must have been very difficult to write and it was hard to read too but the last 3 chapters more than made up for the heavy stuff.

You know I love all your work Rockie but this chapter was really something special. You know how much I love dogs. So I don't have to tell you how immensely I enjoyed this one. The whole process from the time they went to Brian's, meeting all the dogs, Jack rebelling to bring the pup home, Jack talking to Ranger ( I also use Dax as a sounding board daily) and finally, Jack accepting Max. This story just made it into my top 5 in fan fic ever from all shows:)

Good Jack is healing. I had to smile at Henry's horrified expression when he mentioned Mudgie and then Jack saying that Mudgie is in their hearts where it matters most. This is totally off point but one day, I embarrassed myself terribly when I met an elderly relative who I hadn't seen for some time and asked 'how is your wife getting on' and he said 'my wife passed away 2 years ago'. I am sure my parents must have mentioned this at the dinner table but they have so many relatives that I can't remember all!
Oh, I like the dog breeder calling and offering the pup to a good home. I think Jack should get another dog as he obviously loves dogs and the dog will have a good home and will be a good companion to Jack and also, there's Rosa to look after the dog when Jack is out.
I know I am a bit slow on the uptake in general but only now I realized that Tina and Cory were named after Thn and her hubby, lol!

Rockie, I just read on the episode thread that due to shoulder issues, you have been off work for a few weeks. I am really sorry to hear that. I hope your shoulder is fully well now and you can get back to work next week.

There is nothing like the laughter of a child. Excellent ending.
