This was great! I loved Thorin’s story, especially when they thought the Shinshee was actually there and Thorin goes, “Impossible! I made it up!” Marvelous. Love Kili and Fili’s relationship. They are so cute. Keep writing! You’re great at it!

Aaaaah. I'm a huge fan of this "Problem Series." Your portrayals of Kili and Fili are just how I imagine them on a boring day, but, to be honest, I miss the drama. "Brothers" was extremely well-written, and I really enjoyed reading it. Just saying, humor is great, but I do love some drama.

That was amazing. I laughed so hard. And the scary story incident was priceless. Oh Heavens, and Kili using big words all of a sudden, haha. Fili being hell bent on the idea that only he has the right to make esoteric minion of his brother, that was pure gold, the phrasing itself was a wonder.

YOU'RE BACK! Oh , I cannot tell you how happy I was to see you had uploaded another story! I've missed these soooo much! But I guess you've been busy with Happy Hobbit videos and talking to celebrities on the red carpets *jealous stare*
Anyway, this was amazing, as usual, and I was smiling the whole way through! I can totally see older Fili and Kili doing and saying those things. You keep them in character so perfectly! And I loved it when Thorin was telling the young ones about safely making a fire. It reminded me of you videos :) And oh my gosh their father was still alive at this time! That just about killed me, knowing what would happen not too much later to that poor family...
But enough sad thoughts! That flashback was priceless! If it wasn't the dead of night and I didn't have to worry about waking my parents up I would be laughing SO hard! Oh my gosh Thorin is such a big softy and Fili was so nice about making sure his little brother was warm! So cute! The moment you mentioned that the Shinshee had wild hair I KNEW that Kili was coming! And being the youngest in my family as well I can totally relate to Kili about being a tag-along. But oh it was brilliant! I mean, that's such an awesome story in and of itself, but to add the present day stuff as well just makes it all the better! Ugh, I just loved it!
And I loved how you pulled in 'A Furry Problem'! Sheer brilliance! And their banter was beyond perfect! Reading it, I can't help but think about my own sister and me. The dialogue was perfect. It wasn't forced, the reactions were genuine, and their relationship will be the death of me. But at least there will be laughter along the way :)
But oh my gosh my heart went out to Kili sooooo much! Poor little thing, sitting there all alone and dejected. And you go Fili! Ya, Mahal help Waldorf for leaving him there alone...though maybe it was for the best...yikes!
Flute? I thought in the book the brothers had fiddles? And I'm not remembering a flute in your earlier stories...I guess I'll just have to read them again ;)
