Wow. The dramatic irony in this is so... staggering. The only way this poor narrator could ever have a shot at finding the things he craves is if he does the one thing he has sworn never to do. It's sad, really. But I like it anyway. It's nice to read a fic with no focus on canon characters every once in a while.

Hmmm ... An "autobiography" that isn't an "autobiography", a self insert that isn't a self insert. Liked your story. That Haruhi certainly is one WIERD kid.
