I gotta hand it to ya, that was a very well done sequence of fight scenes. It followed the Embershed Mine to a tee and gave off one of the many ways to take that place down (my personal fav being to sneak around with my bow... but that's just me XD). I got a kick out of the realistic brutality displayed and just thinking about meeting Gakesh in battle could give even the strongest of warriors nightmares. I also love how you didn't just make Gakesh a completely soulless narrator as she recounted this. She actually had a recognizable personality, and an enjoyable one at that. If I had to give one criticism it's that at times it was a bit confusing to tell which opponent Gakesh was doing what to (as in when she was fighting the wood elf and the nord, I couldn't tell who she killed with her shield until I saw that the nord stabbed her in the leg). However that could've been done to just give the story a more natural feel, I just don't know. Even if it wasn't it's only a minor nitpick. I really enjoyed this first chapter and I'm looking forward to seeing more soon.
