This is sort of sad and hopeful, and I like the placement of it in the timeline. It neatly avoids the problem of having to interact with main characters. It would be cool to have a follow up, set during the Harry Potter series proper, where they involve themselves with the second wizarding war, mainly because Aziraphale can't really stand by and watch, and because secretly Crowley can't either

This is one of the best one-shots I've ever read and I can't believe it doesn't have any reviews. You made me smile at 2:00 AM, which is definitely a sign of a good fic. :)
