This fic is long since abandoned I’m sure but if you’re still reading the reviews, I really really loved a wonderful story. The dream logic is such a great facet of the practical fairy tale world. I love the way you write Sophie and howl.

I Absoloutly love this story, and although it's been years, I'm still waiting for you to finish, you once had such a passion for this story, what happened, I know it has been years, but you now have so many waiting fans, prepared for the next chapter. I have often found myself at the end of an un-finished fic, but this one has been my favourite by far, and that's why I beg you to finish, I have to know what happens, and I have to find a fantastically fluffy howl and Sophie scene at the end, as after all she has been through, Sophie deserves a happily ever after more than anyone! I have been up untill god-knows-how-early and I can't let you leave then story like this. It has been years, and you probably wont even see this, but if you do, I beg of you, finish this fic and give howl and Sophie the ending they deserve!- your adoring fan- antleredpluto x

I really love how this fic is based on the book rather the film, however, I would live if the chapters were longer!

This is a really amazing story that I could not stop reading despite the fact that I really ought to be studying for my exam tomorrow! Please, please, please finish this because one of the main reasons that I read fanfiction is because I found the original ending to unsatisfactory, so it would be really redundant if a fanfiction leaves me hanging as well. You're an amazing writer and I know that you're probably very busy with life right now, possibly graduated with a degree and now working at a full time job, but if you would be so kind as to leave us with a final chapter, maybe a couple of sentences to say how this ended, we would all be greatly in your debt and appreciate you so much! Please, please, please with a cherry on top finish the story. I'm sure that everybody would be insanely grateful. Until then, I'll be right here, hoping and praying that you have read my review and the reviews of the many others that are undoubtedly also checking in hopes that this story has reached a conclusion.

This is an incredibly well-developed story! You have me intrigued and captivated to the end.

I like how, at the start of the story, it is rather deceptively cheerful and everything, what with Howl's erratic personality and sweet character, of course except for the disturbing dream of the witch, and then the story gradually gets darker, and darker, like she's falling into something almost akin to an Alice in Wonderland world. It was just marvellous, seeing all the various fairytales blend into your tale very effectively, and also showing Sophie as a woman who is close to recognising her magical potential - as seen how she uses her abilities much better and, I may be wrong, with much more thought into how she's going to use them.

The depth of the character displayed here is just stunning and mindblowing. You start off with the facades of the characters - or, maybe a better way to say it would be to call it skimming the surface of their characters, and touching on the faces they show to the world. But then you progress on to explore something darker, like the insecurities and the flaws and the innermost fears of the characters. Most of all, Sophie. How you tackle her is not OOC in the least! You expertly brought out her character so well that it feels like her heart is being laid in the middle of a bright and burning spotlight for everyone to see. In fact, it's almost so private and personal and intimate that the reader feels a rush of feeling, of connectedness to the character, almost as if we're intruding on the personal moment laid bare for us to see. She hasn't quite gotten over her fear of failure of being the eldest, of having unrequited love, so many things that are so real and believable and makes her all the more compelling to the reader.

Your story is amazing, I really believe. And to add my two cents worth, I did have a feeling that Howl was the Masterman, because of the lines I recognised, but something doesn't seem quite right. It feels as though his heart is somewhere else - maybe in that frog, or with the Witch? I don't know - and the part that is left behind is Howl. And Howl's not like himself - he's slightly different, which makes me wonder if he has been merged with another man at the same time, which would stand to reason for the blue eyes. But then again, Howl is a master of disguise, thanks to his demonstration of being Twinkle in House of Many Ways, so I'm not too sure on that.

The themes, too, I just have to say, are incredible. I've always felt the underlying theme of women being oppressed in the book, and also the themes of identity and accepting yourself for who you are. All these convoluted messages, spinning around in Sophie's head with overwhelming intensity, is wonderfully written and your lines really pack a punch, they do.

I sincerely hope you will continue this story! You did say, in your author's note, that you would try to finish it come summer. Though it's been a couple of years, and more, that you have last posted, I think that this story will still be somewhat dear to you, and with that in mind, I do implore you to continue, as you yourself said, some of your chapters have been prepared and you have only four chapters left. Please? (:

Oh my golly, I LOVE YOUR STORY. It's utterly confusing at times but I love the different fairy tales in it and well, everything.

At first, I thought the Masterman was Howl but then it didn't quite make sense with Howl being the frog in Sophie's dream (I am still rather confused about which is the dream and which isn't...and all that, haha.) so I thought the Masterman was Calcifer AND Howl. Mainly because of his wanting Sophie's heart. But then I got more confused, since, er, Calcifer has orange eyes... Your story is boggling my mind! XD

Wait, if the Masterman is really Howl, how is his memory gone while he visits Sophie in her dream-thing? _ I'm surprised Michael hasn't made an appearance-or has he and I just didn't notice? Oh, I hope that everyone is really alright in the end!

Anyways, your story is super epic. I wish I could write a nice, long, epic fic like this, aha. I do hope you update soon, when you find the time and words to. [:

i absolutely love your story. i'm intrigued with all the elements and new characters. i'm itching for the big reveal when everything just falls into place, especially with masterman. i refuse to believe he's howl... but a part of me thinks he it. i have yet to find out. ;)

i love how you drew sophie's character. i like how she evolved yet remained very sophie like.

it seems like quite a while since you've updated.. but just in case, i hope you do. or at least give us a heads up please! :)

Wow. All I can say is Wow. This goes beyond fan fiction! This is a novel in itself, a novel that, dare I say it? I enjoy better than the original. How sad that it looks like it will not be finished. There's always hope!
