Reviews for The First Time
SonkaD chapter 1 . 3/9
I understand from the reviews that you changed your ending afterwards? That would make sense, because as much as I don't want Ryoga to die, this story now seems like it's unfinished... Such a pity, because it is a wonderful one, beautifully written and paced.
AeroShylph chapter 1 . 6/28/2016
This story, I believe, needs one more piece to conclude it all. I do have an idea how to do it, but if it's your intention to stop where it is then who am I to tell otherwise.
In any case I do find this the most interesting take on Ranma/Ryoga romance of all I've read. I thought I'd liked it better when Ranma is a girl, but after this I can't go back to that thinking. It jist flows naturally, and wonderfully written.
Cheers from 2016.

Don't read this while having 'Take me to Church' playing on repeat in the background. Just don't do it, man.
moony chapter 1 . 2/6/2015
No, ryoga... where's the rest? I need more. Just something...
JohnStang chapter 1 . 2/4/2014
umm I dont know which story you talking about in the Author notes at the bottom of the page. I read where he is in stable condition, weak but stable.

Want to have some fun with Ryoga's curse. You can add that the doctors never saw this type or virus in humans before. That's its very similar to a virus only found in 'Pigs' which VETS have found a cure for years ago. Since humans and pigs are different biologically the cure for the pigs will not work for humans. Now all we have to do is find a way to splash Ryoga with cold water and hehe go visit with P-chan. You might even can work into the story how Ranma have to defend Ryoga from a very irate Akane who thru this ordeal have just learned of his curse thus his perverted escapades as P-chan in her room.
Human Being chapter 1 . 1/15/2014
There's so much time I don't get to this fandom and this ship... And when I come back, I find a gem like this.

Seriously, thank you.

Very few stories capture what I feel about Ranma and Ryoga together, as a couple, and without turning Ranma into some unrecognizable girl out of his female self. And oh! Your Akane. Your beautiful, tsundere Akane... And your Ranma. Best Ranma I've seen in a good while.

Thank you so much!

PS.: Thanks for not killing Ryoga, though. My feels wouldn't handle it!
Sia chapter 1 . 1/14/2014
Good thing you made Ryoga die at the end, else your story will be just one of those numerous ones where Ranma turned gay, have sex with Ryoga, and pick Ryoga over Akane. Seriously, there are way too many of those.
FireInLife chapter 1 . 1/14/2014
This was quite a nice story. One thing I enjoy is that Ranma is always a guy no matter his form. Yet, unlike a lot of other authors who do an "all-male" Ranma, you didn't just ignore his curse. You also don't have him 'accept' his curse or some other unrealistic thing like that. He acknowledges that it is there, but treats it as it is; a secondary form. Not sure if you understand what I'm trying to say, but meh. I mean, I love DualGendered!Ranma and Female!Ranma stories, but they're a bit of a guilty pleasure. Taking away Ranma's identity as a man just isn't right.

Of course, I didn't exactly like all the darker (or would they be realistic?) elements that were added to the story. The way you expressed sexual frustration and themes, the drinking and angst, it all just seemed too weird for me.

And Ryoga dies...That really sucks. I can't say it was a very emotional ending, but I'm not feeling very emotional right now so that might be why. Still, overall I enjoyed the story quite a bit. Thanks for writing C:

OMG! This story...I don't know what to even say right now. I'm in tears at the end. The progression of the story and the feelings were conveyed so well.
spicarus chapter 1 . 1/13/2014
Well written, even if some character interactions would be implausible for strictly canon interpretations. But then, your not trying for canon are you.

At least you don't have them sleeping with each other from the start like many others do. Its nice that you give a rough timeline of the step taken in the development of the relationship.

But now you've left me wondering about the aftermath of the story. After all, things can never go back to the way they were...well not exactly the way they were.
