I loved this so much for many different reasons. The dreamlike quality of Kate's encounters with Rick and the fact that you left it ambiguos (real or not?) made it more appealing to me. And of course, I'm forever in love with Cops and Robbers and I always felt that it could've been the moment their relationship changed because she was really going to lose him. And you nailed it.
