Dramionefan4life chapter 275 . 9/9 I absolutely loved this story. I can honestly say it's the longest story I've read (took me a month to get through all 275 chapters) but it never got boring and kept me looking forward to keep reading it every day. I love how you wrote Tim's character and love watching his relationship with everyone develop. Great job overall! |
falconjet chapter 210 . 5/9 I have spent the last few days reading this story and I am enjoying it. I rarely comment but while I found the white house meeting funny with the unintended difference from the outcome of the election, I think this chapters family illness in the spring of 2020 to be spot on...are you physic by any chance? |
Momcat chapter 275 . 2/5 Whew, what a journey ! After weeks (more than a month, less than two-and it took that long because of my RL tasks) of stubborn and intense reading this saga from the very beginning, I finally finished it, a little bit four years later than you wrote it's last chapter. I must say that I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for the regular lists of characters at the end of some chapters, when so many new and old characters are involved, sometimes it gets confusing so those helped a lot. Thank you also for giving us those interesting statistics. Vance's retirement party as well as Tim's "welcome Director" parties were touching (and fun). I'll read now Through The Years and shall be able to understand it, because when I tried to do it before I couldn't understand/recognize the characters and events. I'll miss Lina but Artie seems to be another version of her, though Lina was always stronger than Artie's old self; but she never had the nasty stepfather and the then weak mother Artie had. When I started this story, I would never imagine Gibbs and Tony-especially Tony-get this close and become family to Tim, not after the way they treated him for a decade. I love the way you always give Tim amazing (and so many) kids, nice houses, easy parkings, there are no waiting for hours on the phone, nice family members and neighbors. Nobody nasty in his proximity. I wish it happened this way in RL too but unfortunately nasty family members and neighbors as well as bad houses and jealous siblings are more common in reality so it was good to escape them even if it was for a while. See you in the new chapter of The Common Thread ! |
FanReader chapter 257 . 1/4 Rereading this story, love it all over again! It's funny to have them visiting New Mexico when they actually move there in another series of yours. It's been a year since I've read this and there's a bunch of things I forgot about, fun! |
depress0gay chapter 144 . 12/4/2019 Holy crap! Just a few chapters before, I was wondering what it would be like if Rob was bi... damn author! Also story is great! Love it! |
Viejas chapter 275 . 6/15/2019 Between this wonderful story and Wikipedia I feel like I've done a lot of traveling. Of course I know San Diego and its area best, I'm a 4th generation resident! |
DU chapter 169 . 5/2/2019 I found it interesting that you did not mention Ziva when they were talking about who sat at the desks at NCIS! Also I keep waiting to hear more about how Ziva and Abby are doing something about them but nothing! I know this story is about McGee but they should be part of it |
DU chapter 168 . 5/2/2019 I want to say I am enjoying your “book”. This chapter is sad and happy at the same time. I don’t think that Tim Mcgee really is Director material. I don’t think he would want to be director of NCIS. Also 8 kids seems like to many. I don’t he would really want that many. But it is your story and I like it. Except I keep wanting some Ziva and Abby and nothing. |
DU chapter 146 . 4/18/2019 Still no Abby. No Ziva. Poor Abby no one is paying any attention to her. No I believe Gibbs would. Sad |
DU chapter 124 . 4/2/2019 I hope Tim doesn’t go through with the cival suit against Abby. He doesn’t need to destroy her she is already distroid enough. I am sad for Abby nobody cares about her anymore it seems. Again really not liking this part of the story |
DU chapter 123 . 4/2/2019 You forgot the stomping on the dishes part! Also no one would be that upset over staying somewhere away from their bride or groom the night before the wedding no matter what they where doing before. I stayed with my mom and and my husband at his parents house. It is a tradition lots of people have. |
DU chapter 105 . 3/26/2019 Love how you used your own Poppy to create the personalities of all the great men in this story! Once someone told me that writers of songs and stories often write about what they or experienced in their lives and you have done just that! Using your Poppy to create your characters personalities! Hoping for more Ziva and Abby soon! |
DU chapter 87 . 3/20/2019 Ok I must say I thought maybe the stealthy Ziva would hear from Malacah about Tim’s injuries and sneak into the hospital to see him. I invisioned her leaning over him gently touching his face and calling his name as he woke up. That she would sit beside him and Pete until they were coherant and then disappear once again! I was a little disappointed that didn’t happen! |
DU chapter 70 . 3/15/2019 I feel sad for Abby here she is sick and confused in prison almost totally alone. In your story so far Abby is the bad girl and Tim hates her. Collusion? They summond Tim not everyone else! I would think Gibbs would feel a little torn between Abby and Tim. Anyway I will keep reading I guessI should have read your other story first |
DU chapter 62 . 3/12/2019 I do like how you made Ducky Tim’s grandfather! That is so sweet! About two chapters ago you had another part about Abby. In that part the feds said so Abby is healthy and will send her back to lock up. I felt that was a wrong statement as she is in your story mentally ill.? So physically healthy yes mentally no. So the Dr should have said that. The question was more was she combatant enough to understand what she did and stand trial for it. Your different personality disorders did mostly sound like her. |
