Hey, I added your story to my favorites without reviewing even though you specifically asked the readers not to. so I'd like to apologize and make up for it. I'm sorry I didn't review, I actually rarely do because I have difficulty translating my thoughts to words, but I'm going to try. So here it goes...

I really liked this story fora few of reasons, the most obvious being that it's well written and has a good pace to it. I also really liked how you portrayed Jack because I've always believed he was in love with Rose but I always shipped her with the Doctor, and this is very close to how I see the relationship between the three of them. Anyway, I was really happy to find your story, and I'm sorry that this is long and rambling and awkward .

I haven't seen season one in forever either. But I like what you did with this. We all know that Jack liked Rose, could tell by the way he acted around her the first time he met her. I like the way that Jack makes sure to call Rose beautiful. It's something that every girl wants to hear, and Jack just seems the type to tell everyone that.

It's interesting that Jack didn't like Mickey at first. Especially after watching Journey's End/Stolen Earth and how Mickey and Jack get along then.

I really liked the ending and how the thoughts of Rose helped Jack with the pain of coming back. And I definitely enjoyed the little reference to Jack/Ianto.

But great job! I really liked it!

Sorry it took so long to review, but I've been busy. I had it saved to read which I just did.

I love Jack/Ianto, but that's because I saw TW before DW. Although I still love Jack/Ianto, and now I love Doctor/Rose, I also love Jack/Rose. I truly can't decide which I like more.

Anyways, I really liked this. Jack and Rose really never had a chance to be together. It's definitely a tragic pairing, and this story exemplified the tragedy of the pairing.

I think I first started loving the pairing when Jack said "Rose, you are worth fighting for" and "You sent her home. She's safe." The last scene reminded me of that dialogue.

The story was bittersweet, but so is the pairing so it worked. It's very hard to give a happy ending to this pairing. I loved the hint of Jack/Ianto at the end.
