Interesting. I have always wondered at the relationship between Karen-san and Aoki-san though I have never taken the time to explore it myself. This is reawakening that desire to dive back into their relationship. Great job!

You perfectly portrayed the drama and troubles with adultery, displaying it nicely from her point of view. The hopelessness and not knowing what to do feeling was easy to sympathize with.

That he, in the end, stood by his family was also realistic. Even if it left me a bit sad. But I couldn't see it ending with the two of them *sigh* It never does. They're destined for a unhappy romance :P Pity...

Synopsis; awesome read!

This fic was so sad...I cried reading it. It's beautifully written, and the song fits the story perfectly (you probably wrote it that way though, no?). I don't support Karen/Aoki because I hate adultering husbands, but I must admit I have a closet fondness for their impossible relationship. If anything were to happen between them, it'd probably turn out exactly as you penned. You managed to draw out their emotions and keep them completely in character, so kudos to that. :)

although i was saddened by the fact tha aoki and karen didn't come together, i suppose it was stil what aoki would have done, or else it would be out of character. a really good story to express the character of them both. keep going.
